The book of Genesis "Cain"

After Cain departed, Cain went into the land of Nod, on the east of Eden, and Cain's wife gave birth to Enoch.
Genesis 4:16-17

Seeing Adam and Eve only had 3 sons, Cain,Able and Seth. So where do you suppose Cain's wife came from ?

What was the mark, that God put on Cain, in Genesis Chapter 4

God had created man earlier in Genesis 1. Told man to multiply and fill the earth.

Later God created Adam and place him in Eden. So there were lots of folks already running around before Adam came along.
That's very interesting. What is your source of information?

Uhh....the book of Genesis. BTW, personally I believe the folks outside of Eden were cavemen. That's why most of us are so ugly today...just sayin'.

Possibly cro-magnon. Apparently I got a lot of cro-magnon DNA.

The Bible.

Either that or Genesis 1 and 2 are kind of redundant.
Just how are you reading the two chapters so as to get the idea that:

" God . . .told man to multiply and fill the earth."

And that

"Later God created Adam and place him in Eden. So there were lots of folks already running around before Adam came along."

?

Reading Genesis 1 and 2 literally and chronologically, I cannot discover how you find people on the earth prior to the literal Adam. Please show me how ot works.

in Genesis 1
27 So God made man like his Maker.
Like God did God make man;

Man and maid did he make them.
28 And God blessed them and told them, “Multiply and fill the earth and subdue it; you are masters of the fish and birds and all the animals.

So you see the word them, more than one. Being told to multiply and fill the earth.

In Genesis 2

7 The time came when the Lord God formed a man’s body from the dust of the ground and breathed into it the breath of life. And man became a living person.

A man, a singular man. God created a man from clay. Planted the Garden of Eden and placed the man he had just created their.

Why assume this refers to the first time God had created man?

Also, how, as asked in the OP would it be possible for Cain to go find a wife?

You assume God creating a man in Genesis 2 refers to same same event as in Genesis 1. I don't see any reason this assumption is necessary. God created men, then at a later time God created a man.

Because one event is mentioned prior to the other. If Adam was the first man don't you think it'd make more sense to write it in that order?

Yup, Please not the use of "the man," a singular noun

Genesis 2: 4 - 20

The Creation of Man and Woman

4 These are the generations
of the heavens and the earth when they were created,
in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens.

5 When no bush of the field was yet in the land and no small plant of the field had yet sprung up—for the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the land, and there was no man to work the ground, 6 and a mist was going up from the land and was watering the whole face of the ground—
(It's quite clear that before the man the conditions on Earth were unable to sustain any kind life.)

7 then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. 8 And the Lord God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9 And out of the ground the Lord God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

10 A river flowed out of Eden to water the garden, and there it divided and became four rivers. 11 The name of the first is the Pishon. It is the one that flowed around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold. 12 And the gold of that land is good; bdellium and onyx stone are there. 13 The name of the second river is the Gihon. It is the one that flowed around the whole land of Cush. 14 And the name of the third river is the Tigris, which flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”

18 Then the Lord God said, “It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit fore him.” 19 Now out of the ground the Lord God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name. 20 The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him.

Adam and Eve were the second pair to be created on the day following the 7th day.

The first male and female to be created was on the six day of creation.

The Bible is not a history book.
The OT is extreme allegory.

Cain was driven from region Hadamah to region East of it Vaeretz. Genesis 2 men and Adam is not the same. Gen 2 speaks a specific CNS modifications , i.e became capable to recognize good and evil like gods. people of Vaeretz were of different kind.
Modern mam is mix of Neanderthal, Cro-Magnon and Denisovan DNA. So this is show allegorically in Genesis. They say that Denisivan were rather tall and very strong - that may be the sign in question,

Where do you get this crap? :D
That comes from The Living Bible. Which part do you think is wrong?
The translation sucks. Specifically ...

The Living Bible (TLB) is an English version of the Bible created by Kenneth N. Taylor and first published in 1971. Unlike most English language versions of the Bible, The Living Bible is a paraphrase. Taylor used the American Standard Version of 1901 as his base text.[1] [source]

At best, it's an ignorant joke. So, for example, a far more accurate translation would be that offered by Everett Fox:

So God created humankind in his image,
in the image of God did he create it,
male and female he created them.
