Isaiah 7:14
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Look, the young woman is with child and shall bear a son, and shall name him Immanuel.

Matthew 1:21
She will bear a son, and you are to name him Jesus.

If Jesus and Immanuel are the Same, why wasnt Jesus named Immanuel, cleary Isaiah revaltions did not prohizise the coming of Jesus but a women bearing a Son called Immanuel.

The phrase "a virgin" which we find in our English Bibles does not appear in the original Hebrew text. The word used is 'almah {al-maw'} meaning "a young woman of marriageable age". Clearly "Virgin" was inserted on the sole purpose of Jesus.

Jesus is supossed to means God Saves, Yeshu, cleary Yeshu does not means God saves, it solely means "Saves" by itself. for it to mean god saves it would be written as Yeshu-EL or yeshuel meaning god saves, ieshuel, and for people who state it from yhwh, well if Yhwh means "to be" then yehoshua means "to be saved" but since yehoshua only has half of yhwh then it could mean "be saved".
No offense, but the virgin is from the Septuagint Greek scriptures. They did not make it up just because Jesus. The Hebrew scholars who translated the Hebrew to Greek thought it should mean virgin for some reason.
Secondly, according to the Mosaic Law no "almah" should be anything but a virgin unless she had committed fornication with someone in which case she had dishonored her father because she did this while still living in his house. The prophet Isaiah was not likely to point to a girl that had broken the Law as a "sign". So she must have been a virgin.
Thirdly, the fact that this is presented as a miraculous sign proves she is a virgin. You wouldn't think it was a big deal if a girl got pregnant because she was having sex with someone and called her son Immanuel. You would think it was a big deal if a virgin had a baby. That's a real sign.

As for the name Immanuel. In the prophecies, the Messiah is called many names. Including Immanuel, David and yes Yeshua. In Zechariah 6:11-13 Zechariah is supposed to put crowns on the head of a priest named Yeshua(Joshua) and Zechariah declares "the man whose name is the Branch". This is a Messianic prophecy showing us that the priest Joshua has the same name as the coming Messiah called the "Branch". The prophecy speaks of the Messiah being both a priest and a king. As in Psalm 110:4; after the order of Melchizedek.

Zech 6:
11 Then take silver and gold, and make crowns, and set them upon the head of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest;
12 And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The Branch; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord:
13 Even he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

As for the name Yeshua, it doesn't mean God saves exactly. That would be Elisha(Elisha the prophet had this name). The name Yeshua is supposed to mean Yah saves. It's longer form is Yehoshua. Yeshua is the shortened version.
