Long day not a win. But it's the middle of the week, and my last client today at least is an easy case, and the kids get along great.
So, it's a "middle finger" win to everyone who told me it would be a hard case to work on, a "great case to cut my teeth on," and assumed it would be hard just because it involves four kids and three foster parents and a drug whacked mom. It's actually really super easy, and I not at all mind the $40-$50 dollars I get for driving two kids who get along great, observing the kids with mom for a couple hours, then driving the kids back. The four year old though, I'm having to reach deep into the philosophies of martial discipline and capitalist motivation to get this kid on track.

That's probably my most favorite Simpson's scene. So funny it is, my mom, who hates the Simpsons, laughed at the scene when it was featured on some VH1 countdown (top 1-hit wonders, perhaps), and would go on to say it's a funny scene are ardently deny it's from the Simpsons.

HA!!!! I do that with Mrs Wu ALL the time..... but she is predictable, and unimaginative...she always goes and buys real estate.... then I too get to be even MORE slothful by turning the whole dang thing over to the guy we have that deals with that sort of stuff...if it were me...I'd invest in cookies, cake, pie and donuts.....pfhht...real estate....ya can't eat it...what good is it.....
No more real estate for us.
It requires too much attention for my lazy ways.
Although....a complicated development might arise which
could put me back in that game....a story for another day.

That is why you HIRE a guy that handles these sorts of things..... she buys it, he takes care of it, at most I have to show up to the signing....and the rest is laggards paradise.... now if I could just figure out a way to get cookies with that.....
