How could an omniscient , omnipotent god of love create sin ?

Are you saying that you believe everyone will be resurrected when Jesus comes back? Or will it just be Christians? I know different Christians have different beliefs. What do you believe is going to happen to the resurrected bodies after that?

Good questions.
Yes, there are many beliefs, but the context of the Bible only teaches one thing. (It would really have to be harmonious in its teachings, if it's really from God, agree?)

What does the Bible say on this? Jesus stated, "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the Memorial Tombs will hear His voice and come out, those who practiced good things to a Resurrection of Life, those who practiced vile things to a Resurrection of judgement." -- John 5:28-29
(Notice, for the wicked, it's not a 'resurrection to damnation', as some Bible versions word it. Why bring someone back to life, if they're just going to be killed again? That would make no sense. The correct word to translate the Greek here is 'judgment.'.)

More about this judgment later, if you want.

Both the good and the bad will be resurrected.

Also, the Apostle Paul wrote, "....there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." -- Acts of the Apostles 24:15

Do you see the future tense that Jesus and Paul used? ( I highlighted them in bold type.) So it hadnt happened then. Plus, Jesus gave more information in the next chapter, at John 6:40 and John 6:44.

Also, did you see where these dead ones will be resurrected from? Their memorial tombs! He didn't say they'd come out from heaven, or a burning place.

For right now, they are, as Jesus said about Lazarus at John 11:11-14, "sleeping", a sleep from which they can only be awakened by Jesus.

They will be resurrected with new bodies -- their old bodies, no telling where some of those atoms are at, now...could be still in the ground, or somewhere else.)
It doesn't really matter....don't our own bodies constantly renew themselves, about every 7 years or so? That's what I understand.

Anyway, our loved ones, and their loved ones, and their loved ones, and so on, back for hundreds of generations, all will be reunited, even apparently with their memories intact (I mean, they'll have to recognize their loved ones, right?), and will be given the opportunity to live forever (Isaiah 25:8).....all who want God's rule, that is. (Revelation 21:3-4, "death will be no more.) There may be those who refuse, we'll see. That's really where that "judgment" comes in, how they act after they're resurrected.
But it will be a joyous time!

Hey, Trailblazer! Hope you are having a good day.
I copied the rest of your post
I do not believe that the reason people suffer is because of Adam & Eve. I believe it is the nature of the material world that causes suffering. Also, all humans have a lower selfish nature and that causes people to do evil and cause suffering to themselves and others. By deductive reasoning then, after we die and go to a spiritual world, there will be no more suffering because we will not have to negotiate the material world and we will not have the free will to do evil and cause suffering.

I do not believe in the physical resurrection of bodies from graves. I believe that the body once dead remains dead and decomposes. When we die the soul leaves the body and goes to a purely spiritual world where it takes on some kind of new form, a spiritual body comprised of heavenly elements that exist in that realm. Everyone has an eternal soul, on no matter what religion they are and no matter whether they believe in God or not. That soul will continue to progress in the spiritual world for eternity. The soul will have a different starting point from which it progresses depending upon its spiritual qualities at the time of death.

You said: “when all past relationships -- between brothers and sisters, loving parents and children, dear friends -- will be restored.” I believe people will be reunited with friends and loved ones, but what about people who had no loving relationships to have restored?

You said: “Keep in mind, though, that individuals have only had to endure 70, or 80, or 90 years.” Have you ever suffered, I mean really suffered? Have you ever been clinically depressed, suicidal? I think you might be singing a different tune if you had. Just because we will be freed from suffering after we die that does not negate the suffering we have to endure in this material realm of existence. Moreover, some people suffer a lot more than others and often it is not because they deserved to suffer. Some people slip through the cracks because not all people have the same resources or ability to get help. How to you explain that? Why does God allow innocent people to suffer? I have some explanations from my religion but that still does not make suffering magically disappear

What about people who have nobody to turn to and no belief in a God? I believe we should show forth mercy, compassion and kindness towards every living creature, unless they have private selfish motives. That is what God has entrusted us to do, because God is not going to do it, at least not in this mortal world... Indeed, we are on our own and God does not intervene, at least not in any way that is perceptible.
Wow, there's a lot to cover here!

I agree with most of it.

Regarding the soul, though.... I know many believe as you, but there aren't any Scriptures with context that support an eternal soul.

In fact, the Bible states the soul dies. Ezekiel 18:4 is one, there are many others! Did you ever read Ecclesiastes 3:18-20? It's an enlightening passage. Verse 20 reminds us of God's words to Adam after he sinned, @ Genesis 3:19: "You are going to return to the ground, for out of it you were taken. For dust you are, and to dust you will return."
God did not say to Adam, 'your body....'; He said "you"!
The person.

Now, does the Bible say that people 'have' souls? No, it doesn't. Please read Genesis 2:7. Referring to Adam, God "blew into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man came to be a living soul."
Adam became a soul, he did not possess a soul. He was a soul.

And Jesus further indicates that the soul can be destroyed forever. --Matthew 10:28.

In other words, in accord with Ezekiel 18:4 where it says 'the soul dies', it also says all souls "belong" to God. That person's future life prospects, (whether they were atheists or godly) rests entirely in God's hands! As Jesus said, that person could be destroyed forever, after their final judgment.

Interesting thing, though: per Scripture (Romans 6:23), the payment for sin, isn't torment; it's death. Once a person has died, he's paid for his sin. As Romans 6:7 states, he's been 'acquitted.'

So the unrighteous who are brought back to life, will be judged on how they act, after their resurrection.

Take care, my cousin.

Hey, Trailblazer,

According to the Weymouth New Testament, Romans 6:7 states,
"for he who has paid the penalty of death stands absolved from his sin." (Bold type is mine)

Nicely worded! The point stands out!
I'm going to remember this version.
