Prominent Marks of the True Church of the Lord Today

No problem, I agree. But the bible is not the Lord God and we should put God above the bible and not the bible above God.
Even in the book of Exodo, it is written as Jehovah, no big deal about this one.
This is the big deal this time. If this is true, there should have been no JW, 7DA, Baptist, Born Again, Methodist, Eimelif, LDS, and other various denominations today because the Church of the Lord is only one Church whose Head and Leader is none other than the Lord Jesus Christ himself. Only God can teaches us the TRUTH but not the bible.

This will be much better if you have actually learned it from the Lord God and not just your own interpretation of the passages of the bible. Did you learn this from the Lord God himself as God did to Paul and others in the bible?
the bible is where we learn about God, and the faithful ones stick to the bible, and the faithful ones are given great responsibilty from Jesus. matthew 24;45-47
(Matthew 25:21) His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave! You were faithful over a few things. I will appoint you over many things. Enter into the joy of your master.’

(Luke 12:44) I tell YOU truthfully, He will appoint him over all his belongings.
And the Lord said: "Who really is the faithful steward, the discreet one, whom his master will appoint over his body of attendants to keep giving them their measure of food supplies at the proper time? yes Jesus is giving his faithful slave class lots of spiritual food , and they are dishing it out to others , and i have taken advantage of all that great banquet ,but at the right time i can take in some more from the faithful ones . make no mistake about it ,Jesus is most certainly feeding his sheep in these the last days. and its all about it in the bible.
Jehovah has given us a responsibility and a great privilege, saying: "You are my witnesses, . . . and I am God." (Isa. 43:12) We are not simply believers. We are witnesses who publicly testify to vital truths contained in God’s inspired Word. What is the message that Jehovah has commissioned us to deliver in our day? It focuses attention on Jehovah God, Jesus Christ, and the Messianic Kingdom. yes Jehovah in the bible even says that .....he would take out a people for his name ...... and he certainly has ...............Jehovahs witnesses
in order that those who remain of the men may earnestly seek Jehovah, together with people of all the nations, people who are called by my name, says Jehovah, who is doing these things, Acts 15;17

the bible does not tell his people to not use his name , in fact the bible says quite the opposite to that , we should not take up the name in a worthless way , which means something quite different. this not saying his name is a superstition that arose among the Jews , that is why they started to leave the name out of the scriptures , but it was not right to do that . Jehovah wants his name to be made known . and he is doing that
"EVERYONE who calls on the name of Jehovah will be saved." (Romans 10:13)
in a modern fulfillment of these words of Isaiah’s prophecy: "In that day you will certainly say: ‘Give thanks to Jehovah, you people! Call upon his name. Make known among the peoples his dealings. Make mention that his name is put on high. Make melody to Jehovah, for he has done surpassingly. This is made known in all the earth.’"—Isaiah 12:4, 5.
Although many are reluctant to use the name Jehovah, and many Bible translators leave it out of their translations, millions of people around the world have gladly accepted the privilege of bearing God’s name, of using it not only in worship but in everyday speech, and of declaring it to others. If somebody spoke to you about the God of the Bible and used the name Jehovah, with which religious group would you associate him? There is but one group in the world that uses God’s name regularly in their worship, just as his worshipers of ancient times did. They are Jehovah’s Witnesses. he has taken out a people for his name Acts 15;14

I'm not saying that God's name isn't supposed to be used but Jehovah is a mistranslation of two words that were joined together in the Hebrew scriptures. The name of God YHVH was given the diacritical (vowel) markings of Adonai (Lord) and the word was translated into Latin as Jehovah.

Saying God's name is Jehovah is in fact wrong, a better translation would be Yahveh.

Is it, then, wrong to use a form like Yahweh? Not at all. It is just that the form Jehovah is likely to meet with a quicker response from the reader because it is the form that has been "naturalized" into most languages. The important thing is that we use the name and declare it to others. "Give thanks to Jehovah, you people! Call upon his name. Make known among the peoples his dealings. Make mention that his name is put on high."—Isaiah 12:4.............
consider the name of Jesus. Do you know how Jesus’ family and friends addressed him in day-to-day conversation while he was growing up in Nazareth? The truth is, no human knows for certain, although it may have been something like Yeshua (or perhaps Yehoshua). It certainly was not Jesus.
However, when the accounts of his life were written in the Greek language, the inspired writers did not try to preserve that original Hebrew pronunciation. Rather, they rendered the name in Greek, I·e·sous´. Today, it is rendered differently according to the language of the reader of the Bible. Spanish Bible readers encounter Jesús (pronounced Hes·soos´). Italians spell it Gesù (pronounced Djay·zoo´). And Germans spell it Jesus (pronounced Yay´soos).
Must we stop using the name of Jesus because most of us, or even all of us, do not really know its original pronunciation? So far, no translator has suggested this. We like to use the name, for it identifies the beloved Son of God, Jesus Christ, who gave his lifeblood for us. Would it be showing honor to Jesus to remove all mention of his name in the Bible and replace it with a mere title like "Teacher," or "Mediator"? Of course not! We can relate to Jesus when we use his name the way it is commonly pronounced in our language.
Similar comments could be made regarding all the names we read in the Bible. We pronounce them in our own language and do not try to imitate the original pronunciation. Thus we say "Jeremiah," not Yir·meya´hu. Similarly we say Isaiah, although in his own day this prophet likely was known as Yesha‛·ya´hu. Even scholars who are aware of the original pronunciation of these names use the modern pronunciation, not the ancient, when speaking about them.
And the same is true with the name Jehovah. Even though the modern pronunciation Jehovah might not be exactly the way it was pronounced originally, this in no way detracts from the importance of the name. It identifies the Creator, the living God, the Most High to whom Jesus said: "Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified."—Matthew 6:9.

Jesus is an English translation of Yahshua. And most people do not believe that he has to be referred to by his name in the original language, however some people do.

Jehovah is not a translation of YHVH or YHWH. It is a mistaken translation of YHVH with the vowel markings of the word adonai. That's the difference between the name Jesus and the name Jehovah, Jesus is a valid translation while Jehovah is a corruption.

There are only four letters, because Hebrew didn't have vowels; there were only consonants. Vowels were a Greek invention, when they adapted the alphabets for their own use.

In the Hebrew language it is written יהוה. These four letters, called the Tetragrammaton, are read from right to left in Hebrew and can be represented in many modern languages as YHWH or JHVH. God’s name, represented by these four consonants, appears almost 7,000 times in the original "Old Testament," or Hebrew Scriptures.
The name is a form of a Hebrew verb ha·wah´ (הוה), meaning "to become," and actually signifies "He Causes to Become." Thus, God’s name identifies him as the One who progressively fulfills his promises and unfailingly realizes his purposes. Only the true God could bear such a meaningful name.

When you think about it, God can't have a name. Names are given to people and things, usually by their parents or owners, they are labels.

There was nothing before God to name Him, thus any name ascribed to Him is simply a human label.
He could of named Himself, but why would He? What possible use could a name have if you are the only thing in existance? Thus, any name He has now is for our benefit alone.

The best "name" for God is the one He uses - "I Am" - simple, but effective.

Thanks for the response, adlemi, but it kind of seems to me as if you are avoiding the question. I believe differently that the Lord has told me different things than He has told you. In other words, while we may have some beliefs in common, there is much on which we do not see eye-to-eye. In other words, we are not in unity with each other. Which of us is in unity with the Lord?
I am not evading anything but if the Lord God Jesus Christ himself is your present Good Pastor and Teacher, can you tell me exactly how did the Lord introduce himself to you? How is He teaching you? If the Lord God Jesus Christ himself is your teacher, do you recognize this teaching of the Lord Jesus?

The Lord said:

“I said unto a woman, what was the last sin that you committed today? The woman replied, I cannot remember, Then I said, you cannot remember or you do not know the meaning of sin. The woman replied, please forgive me because I do not know the meaning of sin.” [FONT=&quot]

”I then said unto a rich one doing a charitable work, what was the last sin that you committed today? The woman replied, I never did sin because I was busy doing a charitable work and good deeds. You are stupid with your sin. You will never be saved by your good deeds. Come ye all and I will teach you. Only your Lord can teach you what is the meaning of sin much more so that in the bible many are erratic and are not included that’s why if in it is written do not kill, the meaning of do not is not proper to do but if it will not be your Lord who will teach you, then how will you know that even these are wrong or right? UNLESS YOU THROW AWAY THE OLD, THOSE THAT YOU LEARN BY YOURSELF, THERE AND THEN THAT THE WISDOM COMING FROM THE LORD WILL COME TO YOU BUT IF YOU WILL NOT THROW AWAY THE OLD, YOU WILL REMAIN STUPID IN KNOWING THE MEANING OF SIN BECAUSE NOBODY CAN EVER TEACH YOU THE MEANING OF THOSE BUT YOUR LORD GOD. ANY GOOD DEED WILL SAVE YOU NOT UNLESS YOU TRUST AND ENTRUST YOUR LIFE TO YOUR ALMIGHTY LORD GOD.”

I cannot really figure out where you're coming from and if you may, can you tell me some specifics where we differ very much?

God only speaks to people that he chooses to speak to. He doesn't speak to everyone now and he didn't in biblical times either.
Two-way communication with God is what you meant with your statements above, isn't it? But in reality God is speaking to all people through various means though people did/do not know that it was/is God who is speaking to them through that manner. This will only be made known to us when we meet God face to face in due times. Meantime let us concentrate on the two-way method of God's dealing with mankind as we can see from the life of Moses, Elijah, Paul, Peter, etc.. You have a point in your statement above.

God spoke to Moses and sent Moses to speak to the Israelites on His behalf. Jesus spoke to his disciples and sent them out to speak to others. Jesus spoke to Paul and sent him out to speak to others on his behalf.
Exactly and I'm happy that you see these things clearly like the blue sky at noon time. I hope that you will not go astray with these dealings made by the Lord God with mankind from Genesis to Revelation, will you? If you will notice in your statements above, God is always the origin of anything that His witness will speak out with the people - from God to Moses to Israelites, from Jesus to His disciples/apostles to other people, from Jesus after His ascension to Paul to other people. No problem so far. But today that these people are all dead, what do we have today - from the bible to different man pastors to different religious denominations to different pople. What is lacking now? It is the Lord God Jesus Christ that is lacking this time. It must be from the Lord God Jesus Christ to anyone whom the Lord wishes to send out to the people and to the people of this world today. This is what we are telling all to observe to in their life so that no one may lead them astray of the way leading to the kingdom of God. The only good new is to tell all nations to call on direct to the Lord God and let the Lord God be their only Good Pastor and Teacher.

The Church is set up with apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to speak in His behalf for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry and for the edifying of the body of Christ.
The Lord God Jesus Christ is the only Good Pastor and He sent no one then in His behalf but only to be a witness of God to tell people to go and come to direclty with God so that God must be their Good Pastor and Teacher. No witness is to be a pastor or a leader of the Church of the Lord and what you are quoting above is only a passage of the bible and you do not get is directly from the Lord God Jesus Christ. The bible is not God for you to put all your trust and confidence in it.

The name Jehovah is almost universally accepted by English-speaking Christians as the manner of pronouncing YHVH, but that arose by mistake.
It seems that as the centuries passed and the Jews of later history spread throughout the east and began to speak Aramaic, Babylonian, and Greek, in preference to Hebrew, there grew up the danger that the proper pronunciation of the Biblical language would be forgotten. The Jewish scholars therefore placed little diacritical marks under the Hebrew consonants, indicating the vowel sounds that went with them in each particular word.
For YHVH, however, they did not produce the proper diacritical marks since the name was not supposed to be pronounced anyway. Instead, they wrote the diacritical marks for Adonai, the word that was supposed to be pronounced. Sometime during the Middle Ages, a Christian scholar, supposing that the vowels of Adonai belonged with the consonants YHVH, wrote out the name in full as Jehovah. (The initial J in Latin is pronounced like an initial Y in English.) This mistake has persisted and will probably continue to persist. Actually modern scholars seem to have decided that the correct pronunciation of YHVH is Yahveh. - Asimov's Guide to the Bible Vol 1: The Old Testament by Isaac Asimov pp. 20, 135
This only testifies the possiblities of other mistakes in the bible.

Actually, there is no big problem in this area since God acknowledges those names for the sake of language barriers. What is important here is for anyone to place himself under the direct tutelage of God himself by calling on to God in the right way and putting all his trust and confidence in the Lord God who can read same in our heart and our mind.

Oh may, may, why can't you see that it is only in the mind of bible readers that eternal life is in the bible which in actuality is just a testimony to the reality of the existence of the Lord God, see John 5:39. You have to come to the Lord God and have God as your Good Pastor and Teacher, not the bible nor your man pastor or minister. It is only the Lord God who teaches the truth and not the bible.

yes , of cause a person would have to draw close to God ,then he would draw close to them .
(Isaiah 55:6) Search for Jehovah, YOU people, while he may be found. Call to him while he proves to be near.
(James 4:8) Draw close to God, and he will draw close to YOU.
this could be in the form of a heart felt prayer to find the true God , and Jehovah is the answerer of prayers , and even if we dont know the name of the true God, he would still hear our prayer because he knows our heart condition. and he will make sure that we gain accurate knowledge about who he is. but at the end of the day we could refuse to look in the bible and find out about the true God. Jehovah reads hearts. and yes he is the great teacher . he has given us a bible to teach us , the bible has the saying of Jesus christ in it and he has sayings from his father Jehovah God. isnt the bible a most wonderful teaching book.
