To be fair. It's a bit more sane to want to land on an aircraft carrier than out in the ocean.
Having met ex-Navy pilots over the years I (and they) would appreciate the humor. BTW, more than one ex-Navy pilot confirmed my original assessment!
Edit: As a point of reference we spent many hours trailing 1000 yards behind numerous aircraft carriers just in case one of those crazy persons missed.
