In Jesus name means God's will be done. Correct?

The people who say (whenever they say it) "Lord, Lord!" means they believe they are doing or have done God's will. Correct?

7 “Stop judging+ that you may not be judged; 2 for with the judgment you are judging, you will be judged,+ and with the measure that you are measuring out, they will measure out to you.+ 3 Why, then, do you look at the straw in your brother’s eye but do not notice the rafter in your own eye?+ 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Allow me to remove the straw from your eye,’ when look! a rafter is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the rafter from your own eye, and then you will see clearly how to remove the straw from your brother’s eye.6 “Do not give what is holy to dogs nor throw your pearls before swine,+ so that they may never trample them under their feet and turn around and rip you open.7 “Keep on asking, and it will be given you;+ keep on seeking, and you will find; keep on knocking, and it will be opened to you;+ 8 for everyone asking receives,+ and everyone seeking finds, and to everyone knocking, it will be opened. 9 Indeed, which one of you, if his son asks for bread, will hand him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, he will not hand him a serpent, will he? 11 Therefore, if you, although being wicked, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more so will your Father who is in the heavens give good things+ to those asking him!+12 “All things, therefore, that you want men to do to you, you also must do to them.+ This, in fact, is what the Law and the Prophets mean.+13 “Go in through the narrow gate,+ because broad is the gate and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are finding it.+15 “Be on the watch for the false prophets+ who come to you in sheep’s covering,+ but inside they are ravenous wolves.+16 By their fruits you will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they?+ 17 Likewise, every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit.+ 18 A good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, nor can a rotten tree produce fine fruit.+ 19 Every tree not producing fine fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.+ 20 Really, then, by their fruits you will recognize those men.+21 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of the heavens, but only the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will.+ 22 Many will say to me in that day: ‘Lord, Lord,+ did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’+ 23 And then I will declare to them: ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’+24 “Therefore, everyone who hears these sayings of mine and does them will be like a discreet man who built his house on the rock.+ 25 And the rain poured down and the floods came and the winds blew and lashed against that house, but it did not cave in, for it had been founded on the rock. 26 Furthermore, everyone hearing these sayings of mine and not doing them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand.+ 27 And the rain poured down and the floods came and the winds blew and struck against that house,+ and it caved in, and its collapse was great.”28 When Jesus finished these sayings, the effect was that the crowds were astounded at his way of teaching,+ 29 for he was teaching them as a person having authority,+ and not as their scribes.

In that day means the day a person knows by the will of God (and not by their own imagination) that they are on God's side or on their own side (or even on the side of something else, but that's another story).

I never knew you, get away from me.
Is translated wrong.

Proof? How can thrown and get away be reconciled? One of them is wrong!

Get is by a person's own initiative. Is thrown also by a person's own initiative? Of course not! Therefore, your way is

Ridiculous!

It is written thus: "and then I will declare", because the last thing in the universe that Jesus DOESN'T WANT is for the people to be ignorant of the way, the truth and the life, but they are and so far, they will be.

LOL OMG! I mean the las thing Jesus wants is to have to say to those believing in him that what they did was not in harmony with God's will be done and he tells us why* and it is because you didn't do it with him. You have not yet made contact with him. If you had, you could not believe that Jesus would ever say what you say he says.

*Because Jesus never stops loving you.

The last thing Jesus wants is to have to say that you aren't with him.

Anyway, if he could want for anything the last thing would be to say that you have done it all without him. He is the fine shepherd. Is he not? Where is he in relation to you?

Never you knew me; away from me the works of the disobedient.

Now, if that is correct @12jtartar, a person reading it COULD and in my opinion should make contact and then his works WOULD be in harmony with the will of God because the works are by the power of God by Jesus Christ and not by your own understanding.

Make contact? Matthew 18:20 For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them

Matthew 28:20
and teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Matthew 7:23 is about the people who go ahead without Jesus to do what they believe is God's will.

To seek Jesus causes much tribulation in the spirit. Some people have called that "satan". It isn't. It just means that you are making contact. Suffer it and stay with it. It will end. I believe.

You do realize that verse says, "you will be hated BECAUSE OF ME..." Which means, you will be hated for confessing Jesus, not condemning the entire Bible because you think one or 2 words are wrong. No one dislikes you because you love Jesus!

That's just your witness attitude coming thru again. Witnesses like to use that verse when people argue with them, but witnesses aren't disliked because they have or believe in Jesus, it's because of their false teachings and their "holier then thou" attitudes.

I can't be loving Jesus and lying about what God says. I don't know how anyone can think that is possible! Either a person loves Jesus and walks the way, truth and life, or not. It can't be both imo. If you are not walking the way the truth and life you aren't loving Jesus.

I speak the truth and people do not like that. It is a conservative spiritual nation I am up against. They all, every one of them, want to keep the status quo.

I am not being hated (not loved) because I confess Jesus. It is because I walk the way that I am.

And, by the way, it is only the believers by which I am feeling unloved. .....

and my husband (who, by the way, is acting nutty again).

@Not answering questions they do not like is the way of the Watchtower @djhwoodwerks . Isn't it?

The question for you. Who is Matthew 7:22 being addressed to? Believers in Jesus or unbelievers?

The reason why I ask is because you say, "you will be hated BECAUSE OF ME..." Which means, you will be hated for confessing Jesus".

I think that people will be hated on account of the name of Jesus can be likened to how people felt about Noah. Noah was hated for his works, not for his believing.

Noah demonstrated that righteousness can be known and demonstrated. Whenever anyone gets the mind of Christ he or she demonstrates that it is possible like Noah demonstrated that it was possible to listen, hear and obey.

"Who has known the mind of the Lord so as to instruct him?" But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16

Can the mind of Christ lie? Can it believe a lie? Can it trust anything that is not true?

Who has the mind of Christ, you, me, the witnesses, the Mormons? Whose beliefs are of the mind of Christ?
I do not know who has or doesn't have the mind of Christ now, but the truth about righteousness was written by those who had it and then the people who changed the truth about righteousness didn't have it. You seem to be resting with the second kind. I seek to please the first kind.

To side with the people who have the mind of Christ is to do good to even the least of the brothers of Jesus. Some people say that anyone is considered a brother of Jesus. I don't believe that.

For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother Matthew 12:50

@djhwoodwerks do we agree that to do God's will does not mean to do what we believe is God's will but to actually do it for real? Can we agree on that?

Whose beliefs are of the mind of Christ?

God. Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16

To propagate words that are men's thoughts and call them God's thoughts is not the will of God. How can it be?

The spirit (people) who changed the meaning of some scriptures are friends of the World. Do you want me to tell you how so?
