Jesus is actually a demigod, born by a God and a human.

Why do a number of people consider Jesus a God, when he's actually a demigod?

Demigods were not unusual at the time given ancient Greek and Roman stories had a number of them.

Jesus can't have been God anyways in light that that he was the offspring from a human merger between God and Mary producing Jesus.

Agree/disagree?
Jesus was an Avatar into whom the spirit of the second person of the Trinity (the Son or as in Hinduism, Vishnu) descended. So for a few years before his death, Jesus in fact acted on Earth as a 'God'. So Jesus may not be a 'God', but it would be wrong to call him just a 'demigod'.

In fact, the 'Father' Jesus talks about in the NT, is not 'the Father' of the whole universe, but just 'the Father' of planet Earth, known as Sanat Kumara. When people find that out, will you question the 'Godhood' of the Father too?

We're all demi-gods based on the process; when born of the spirit.

I wouldn’t call him demigod, because Bible calls him a man.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

1 Timothy 2:5

It is true that Jesus is and can be called son of God, but so can be many other humans also, after all, person can become children of God, by the words Jesus taught:

But as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become God's children, to those who believe in his name: who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
John 1:12-13

Jesus answered him, "Most assuredly, I tell you, unless one is born anew, he can't see the Kingdom of God." Nicodemus said to him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" Jesus answered, "Most assuredly I tell you, unless one is born of water and spirit, he can't enter into the Kingdom of God! That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Don't marvel that I said to you, 'You must be born anew.'
John 3:3-7

If Jesus is demigod because he is born of Spirit, so would be all his disciples that are born of Spirit. I think it is spiritual matter, not physical, like in ancient pagan belief systems. And therefore, the word demigod is not suitable and doesn’t speak about same matter.

Jesus is considered The offspring of Mary isn't that true? Mary was called mother and from all accounts, Jesus's biological mother. That would seem to qualify for Jesus being a demigod.

That qualifies Jesus being a man, born of woman. And Bible says Jesus is a man, not a demigod.

Well. That disqualifies Jesus as having super powers to do maricles and raising the dead. That part was completely unbelievable anyways.

According to the Bible, with God’s help, anything is possible. Jesus don’t need to have own superpowers, if he acts with God’s power, as also it is for disciples of Jesus.

Jesus therefore answered them, "Most assuredly, I tell you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father doing. For whatever things he does, these the Son also does likewise.
John 5:19

Most assuredly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these will he do; because I am going to my Father.

John 14:12

So is Jesus the son of God, or is he the son of Joseph?

If he's the son of God then he's a demigod.

If the son of Joseph, making him not a demigod, then according to the Bible this capability for miracles should be happening now with everybody else today which clearly isn't the case, making one speculate that superpowers or abilities to perform miracles never were the thing to begin with if you were not a demigod.

Christians maintain Jesus did do Miracles and claimed God was his father. How can that not make him a demigod? It does for all practical intents and purposes.

Bible tells Jesus is son of God and son of Mary. And I believe that. However, Bible also tells that disciples of Jesus are children of God. If Jesus is demigod because of that, are disciples of Jesus also demigods?

Well that would depend upon how many of us are actually divinely born from virgins.
