Creator's plan to create a world based on cruelty

I'm glad you asked. Here we see it is the Lord who sanctifies Israel. Sanctification works like trickle down economics.

Ezekiel 37:28
And when my Temple is among them forever, the nations will know that I am the LORD, who makes Israel holy."
Here we see that Jews are commanded to sanctify G-d. Sanctification is a two way street.

Leviticus 22:32
And do not profane My holy Name, and I shall be sanctified within the children of Israel, I am G-d who sanctifies you.

Wow what a very good argument. Oh boy it would be so clever and sneaky if missionaries would say things like that, but they don't. Generally they just don't seem to understand skeptical people. They're always baptized in fire and imagine everyone who holds a holy book is somehow protected from evil thoughts and shaky hands, and its just absolutely impossible that there could be any mistakes in their line of reasoning. They're always right. It seems they are always taught by the best, the most sincere and infallible people and questioning that is just like throwing rocks at a church.
unfortunately I didn't get what you meant! was it to agree or to disagree? a bit baffled by your reply :)

Sanctify means to make holy. The definition there is a little convoluded since it doesn't take God into consideration. In the Old Testament scriptures the Lord faults the Jewish rabbi's for the same oversight, reminding them who sanctifies them. Perhaps the Jews taught Muhammed rather than the Lord.

sanc·ti·fy
ˈsaNG(k)təˌfī/
verb
  1. set apart as or declare holy; consecrate.
"a small shrine was built to sanctify the site"
synonyms: consecrate, bless, make holy, hallow, make sacred, dedicate to God
"he came to sanctify the site"
    • make legitimate or binding by religious sanction.
"they see their love sanctified by the sacrament of marriage"
synonyms: approve, sanction, condone, vindicate, endorse, support, back, permit, allow, authorize, legitimize
"we must not sanctify this outrage"
    • free from sin; purify.
synonyms: purify, cleanse, free from sin, absolve, unburden, redeem
      "they sanctified themselves"
The Idea of sanctifying a created creature is a Christian invention and it is totally perverted. Islam uis against all this, no one in this universe deserve to be sanctified other thnan God. We respect all messengers and obey them but we don't sanctify them or make them.

Leviticus 22:32

But that was Jesus talking who himself needed to be sanctified by God. So when the Lord Jesus became one of the children of Israel, he was sanctified by God. He asked you not to profane his Holy name, if his name was already holy how could the Jews sanctify what was already sanctified?

This doesn't deserve a response.

How does someone profane G-d's Name?

If his name is Jesus you do quite well at it. To treat disrespectfully and irreverently what is holy. And it said the Lord's name not God's name.

And by treating something disrespectfully, you remove the holiness from it?

The word in Hebrew (ḥll) means "mundane", the opposite of holy. We are commanded not to make G-d's Name mundane. How is that possible?

How you treat his name the Lord for others to see. So he didn't want you to profane his name among the nations by treating what is Holy as if it was mundane.

Great. So then you've answered your own question. Sanctifying G-d's Name means treating it as holy.

No, the name was already Holy, by treating it as Holy you simply give credit where credit is due. Giving credit where credit is due is one biblical example of loving your neighbor, so would also fall into the category of loving your God when applied to God.

Did anyone say otherwise?

Yes you said otherwise. You said by treating his name as holy you are sanctifying god and making him holy.

Now lets say there is some false god which the whole earth treats with great respect and reverence, does that make the false god holy?

Link the quote.

Obviously not. Which is part of the reason the verse in Leviticus isn't talking about Jesus.

I really apologize for not being careful enough when I copy pasted that verse from a web page! the translation is not accurate and the word 'Sanctify' doesn't go with the Arabic word 'نقدس لک' . it should be replaced by the phrase ' we keep admitting and praising your purity and holiness.

The main reason I brought up this topic was to get to know more about the Absolute Creator of all beings. The absolute creator of the universe, the creator of Moses, Jesus, Muhammad , ...

There is no way to get to know The Absolute Creator except by looking into history deeply. Finding the contradictions that exist in scriptures when you compare what it says to what really exists in our world can do a lot.

The first step, is to look at the scriptures objectively without any fear of thinking differently. What really counts is what really happened in history and in our own lives as true experiences. In my humble view, no religion has succeeded in granting humans a prosperous life. The result of almost all religions which were sent down by God was wars and killings, ethnic and religious discriminations. Humans must think deeply on this very specific result. I believe that the changes human beings made in the Holy Books has been the real cause.

when these Holy Books are distorted, censored or whatever you might call it changed the Book, then consequently true knowing of God will vanish and is replaced by a completely wrong understanding of who God really is.

I believe that God doesn't need any one to defend or sanctify him. I sometimes find it offending to defend God. God is the absolute power and doesn't care to be defended or not. the God who needs any defenders is not a God. That God is a weak creature like us.
