Join the Guild!!!!

This is the member sign-up for those who want to join the Guild of the Unexplained. If you wish to join post your reasons as to why you wish to join. You must have keen mind, an interest in the science, and an appreciation for the unknown. We will publish a weekly article on Religious Forums and the article will be on a topic of the unexplained. We will attempt, at the start of the articles, to explain certain phenomena/miracles through known and conventional science. In the second part of the articles we will put forth our own theories, and the theories of other scientists. We will then vote, and place the winner of the vote in the article. This may take up some time from your week, as everyone will contribute something to the article, be it an obscure quote or theory, or a whole essay. We will elect a leader once every two weeks. The leader will have veto when we vote on topics. For the first two weeks, I will be the leader.

There are certain things that we need suggestions for:

First Topic of Article

I will put forth a few topics for the first article. Manna from the heavens, the Vimnas of ancient India, the ancient nuclear blasts, radionics, the footprint of man beside the dinasour or the dropa stones.

If anyone has questions about these, don't hesitate to ask, but remember, this will require some investigation on your part.

i would love to join! since 3rd grade i have been fasinated with sasquatch, UFOs and most of all Ghosts. i was obsessed! ya. im a freak. is that a good reason?

A few suggestions by me:

• Mysterious Disapearences
• Certain Biblical Mysteries/Miralces (If you are secure in your religion, you aren't afraid to admit that God could have used science to cause a "miracle".)
• Stuff falling from the sky, inexplicably. (Frogs, Fish, Insects, Cows, Frozen Squid, Money etc.)
• Spontaneous Combustion
• Time Travel (Ways it might be possible)
• Psionic/Psychic Phenomena (Telepathy, Clairvoyence, Psychokinesis)
• Radionics
• Evolution/Creation (We'd start the Guild off with a BANG! )
• Animal Intelligence/Emotion (No talk of the soul, as we will be scientists, and although I, and others, may believe in the soul, we cannot prove it conventionally.
• Aliens (Possibility/Have they come etc.)

Whew... There's others I had but I don't remember them all right now. Alright. Start suggestion, because the voting will take place tomorrow, at approximately 24 hours from this post. We may use the chat to brainstorm, as well.

Spontaneous combustion always used to freak me out when I was younger. When I first heard about it I went around in mortal fear that I was just going to burst into flames with no warning.

I'd love to join! Animal knowledge is what I seem to thrive on, but I'll be happy to celebrate the mystery in anything! I'm not cool enough to come up with a title for myself, though.
