Hi,

I voted 'false'. But not because I believe that Jerusalem was once a Jewish city and will be again (I'm not necessarily denying that, but that's not what motivated me to vote 'false'). But on that statement, how do you define 'Jewish city'?

Thanks,

wm

Fairly liberally, whatever motivates you to call it a "Jewish city" or "Arabic city".

King James Bible
Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.

New Living Translation
You will be fuel for the fire, and your blood will be spilled in your own land. You will be utterly wiped out, your memory lost to history, for I, the LORD, have spoken!"

Inernational Standard Version
You'll be fuel for the conflagration. Your blood will be spilled throughout the land. You won't be remembered anymore, now that I, the LORD, have spoken."

Guess who the above verses were talking about?

That doesn't sound good for the Jews.

For around 1500 years it was owned by Muslims and if I'm correct it was owned before that
by the Romans, Israel owned the land in the era of Moses, that was maybe 3000 years ago.
You and I don't often agree, but here you are totally right.
The Jews lost Jerusalem well over 2000 years ago. And it wasn't the first time. Centuries prior, the Chaldeans owned it. The Romans caused the Diaspora. The Chaldeans caused the Exile. The Jews would have been just another insignificant people lost in the dust of history if they hadn't spawned a couple of heretical offshoots that became gigantic religions.

I am commonly amazed by the lack of basic history often displayed by Zionists. Someone in another thread couldn't place Muhammad in history to within 500 years and didn't know about the Jewish Diaspora. But that didn't stop him from confidently asserting that Jerusalem belongs to the Jews, because the Bible says so.
If you believe Jerusalem was once a Jewish city and will be again answer false to the poll.
I had to vote False because the Reality is that while Jerusalem was Jewish at one time it isn't now and hasn't been for over 2000 years. It never will be again unless the Zionists are willing to indulge in some genocidal violence, which is hard to get international support for in the modern secular world.

Okay, well, by that token, Jerusalem was once a Jewish city, but equally was once an Arab city. Whether it will be Jewish or Arab again in the future (or 'belong' to some other group) and if so for how long, who knows! God perhaps.

There are some 18 million Jews & only six (6) million live in the occupied territories. Twelve (12) or so million will do just fine. It is that small group that is in jeopardy unless they repent.

I pray that they do :)-

Very perceptive. Yes the ultimate underlying question in the poll is what do you think God will allow it to be.

Okay, well, by that token, Jerusalem was once a Jewish city.,.,.,,,,,.,.

Ancient history says otherwise.

Gen 47:3 KJV) And Pharaoh said unto his brethren (Jewish people), What is your occupation? And they said unto Pharaoh, Thy servants are shepherds, both we, and also our fathers.

The Jews of old were shepherds & shepherds do not live in towns or cities but instead live in open land to graze their flocks. Only a "small" group of Jews lived in Jerusalem at any one time. Jerusalem was conquered by King David by murdering the inhabitants but even then they represented a small group compared to the rest.

in my view :)-

So, let me get this straight. Any who killed others or are killed in the ensuing rampages bear no responsibility for THEIR actions? Seriously?

Trump and only Trump bear the responsibility for any killed in the ensuing rampages

period :)-

(Deu 2:29 KJV) (As the children of Esau which dwell in Seir, and the Moabites which dwell in Ar, did unto me until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the LORD our God giveth us.

until I shall pass over Jordan into the land which the LORD our God giveth us

That land is not the land of Israel today

So thousands of years of animosity and a widely revered book would have nothing to do with any of the deaths?
References to Jews in the Koran
Did you know Jews lived under the protection of Muslims for over 1,300 years? Did you know they along with Eastern Orthodox Christians repelled the barbarians from Europe when Jerusalem was threatened? Did you know when the Muslims were kicked out of Spain after Hundreds of years of rule, the Jews opted to leave with them?

Prophecy indicates the Jews will take Jerusalem and more surrounding land, the Anti Christ will become their spokesperson, and the rest you likely know.

Muslims are "Anti-Christ" , they don't believe Jesus is the Son of God. Which is the spirit of Anti-Christ.

Did you know Jews .,.,.

Google, spitting on Christians & tell us what you found-?

Rabbi David Rosen is a talented and respected rabbi, originally from the UK.
Since in some circles it seems to be more encouraged to spit on Christian
clergymen
than build bridges (this week's events in the Old City), Rabbi Rosen
is unpopular with Eskin and his ilk.
Rabbi David Rosen

It has been Jerusalem's dirty little secret for decades: Orthodox yeshiva
students and other Jewish residents vandalizing churches and spitting
on Christian clergyman
as they walk along the narrow, ancient stone streets
of the Old City.

Christians say ultra-Orthodox Jewish students spit at them or at the
ground when they pass. There have also been acts of vandalism against
statues of the Virgin Mary.
