Birth of Christ

Was Christ born on the first day?

And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. God saw that the light was good and he separated the light from the darkness. God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.

light is a creation. christ isn't a creation. he exists before light.

can you provide me with the scripture please?

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

begotten = created

christ is godly light. it's in the nicene creed.

i don't recognize the nicene creed as authoritative. either its in the scripture, or its not.

so you're implying that it's not in the scripture but it is in the nicene creed?

why would anyone not accept the creed?

god is godly light, not the created light.

Jeremiah 31:34
No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the Lord. “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

I believe the answer is yes.

Because it is from man, not God.
Jesus constantly says to listen to Him, and Him alone.
Not to lean on man’s wisdom.
the creed is understanding of the bible. it's not human wisdom.

it's what they understand from the bible with the help of the holy spirit.

so why is it only possible for them vs another human?

why is it only possible for one of God's aspects and not another?

doesn't the bible say that humans are not of their own and have God's spirit dwelling within them?

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 [Full Chapter]
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
