Did Jesus practice the occult?

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
Yes you may include those two additional terms to the meaning of the word "occult." But in Christianity, we would not use that word to identify Jesus is practicing the occult. This may lead to misinterpretation since the word has covered a lot of supplemental meanings. For non-christian, they are comfortable to use that term for Jesus.

Hope this clarified the word "occult" referring to Jesus.
This is a old thread, but I'd like to say there are many references such as the words "hidden" as found in the book of Romans that would correlate with occult practices identified as being "hidden" .

There are so many parallels between the occult the way it works and Christianity and its "miracles" and "wonderous" acts by which Jesus on many occasions oftentimes went through a type of a ritual that is conducive with occult practices.

Hello Nowhere,

Just came back. Good timing. Can you quote where in the Book of Romans?
Jesus may went through those rituals but I firmly believe that He would not allow such practice that links with occultism. Jesus cast out demons in front of people. He dislikes sorceries and witchcraft.

Thanks

Jesus practiced his divine authority. Occult is a mystical human activity, not something a God could be guilty of.
