I thought this may come in useful for quick reference for debates on Islam. It may make muslims life on RF a bit simpler. :)

The story behind the idea...

The 712-page Google doc that proves Muslims do condemn terrorism

I disagree with Heraa Hashmi. We aren't looking for individual Muslims to apologize for Islamic terror attacks, we are looking for them to agree that the attacks were bad. No person can truly apologize for something that they didn't do. But when posting about terror attacks against Westerners, most muslims refuse to even agree that the attack was bad. Or they will post justifications for the attacks. A flat denouncement with no excuses is relatively rare.

Indeed; far more common a reaction is disassociating Islamic terrorism from Islam - they refuse to even admit there's a connection and thus refuse to admit that there is even a problem. Thus washing their hands of the whole thing.

Maybe better if she had also come out in criticism of Muslims who carry out terrorist attacks instead of pointing out other Muslims who had.

It's the wrong idea thinking folks want Muslims to apologize for other Muslims.

Just need to criticize terrorism and criticize the idea of having non-Muslims needing to respect Sharia law.

Personally it would be nice if that web site made a difference in a few people's attitudes.

I expect that it will have a significant impact on the attitudes of Muslims who may have been thinking about performing an act of terror. I'm looking forward to a substantial decrease in Islamic terror attacks, which will prove everyone wrong.

muslims dont start war against any religion, nation, ethnicity, group etc.
muslims are not satisfied with any war or attack against people in the word.
