I've seen a few threads about vegetarianism, veganism, and other diets which make me curious about what percentage of the forum members are vegetarian, vegan, etc.

So...what do you eat?

i suppose if i must label it i am a Ova-lacto vegetarian ...
with reservation that the hens and cattle/goats are not caged.

I don't eat as many vegetables as I should, but I do eat them. (Until my daughter is not watching, what she don't know won't hurt her!)

What do I eat is only half the story. What do I intentionally eat. I eat a cracker and think i'm eating a form of bread, flour and salt. That is what I want it it, what I intentionally eat. There are ingredients in some crackers I do not intentionally want to eat, and the flour may or may not have been genetically altered. And as simple as a cracker is they can do all that to. I'm not sure I dare to eat anything else.

Vegan most of the time, but occasionally I might ingest some shredded cheddar cheese from something my kids didn’t finish.

Also, I tend to keep the food closer to the “whole foods, plant-based” end of the spectrum, as opposed to vegans who eat potato chips, Oreo cookies, and other highly processed yet vegan foods.
Been with this for roughly three years now. Off and on vegatarian for 4 or 5 years before that. Before my 40’s I ate normal fare, i.e. Standard American Diet (SAD).

So...what do you eat?

I eat a mix of insects, greens (fruits too), fish, and once a month a warm blooded creature preferably one of size like a deer.

Insects make quick meals to hold me over, everyone needs greens, Although I respect life and see it all as equal I am still allowed to eat meat because for one if I don't I'd get grumpy and grumpy dragons don't act reasonable. Life that's taken must be eaten so in my view all the vegetarians out there are wasting life. Eating processed soy is worse than eating real meat ie the stuff without coloring and meat glue...The animals will be killed regardless because it's a farm what do you expect? So long as they're bound to be killed like in a slaughterhouse it's acceptable to eat because doing so will respect the creature who died although if it's avoidable to cause harm to a creature I would avoid it. I don't mind hunts for food but if it's taken far enough to where hunters kill predators because muh deer then that should not be allowed.

I recently decided to re-commit myself more fully to a vegetarian diet. Though, with that, I'm debating on whether I should go the ovo-lacto route or straight lacto.

Voted "Omnivore". My diet is pretty much all over the place and having variety is generally a good thing. I've slowly started to get control of my diet by noting down anything I eat that is high in fat or sugar. It's not perfect but I have lost a few pounds doing this and being more conscious of what I eat.

Wish i could acquire those pounds most want to loose, i am 5' 4" 74lb
