The Democratic tide is rolling in - happy days are here again

The Tides may be coming in. But what tis the use when a Hurricane just dissipated? The Snake hath died and corruption revealed. even if they manage to salvage some dignity, it still does not sit well. Lest that party wishes to prop up another Snake or Corpse. which will most certainly be smote down again even if the right props up an Ogre.

I keep hearing from Trump Kool Aid Drinkers that the anti-Trump attitude will guarantee his re-election (though Vegas odds makers have the odds against him even lasting out his first term). I wonder if they will begin to wake up with this election.

Probably not. At least not for the die-hards. But I am betting that Republicans with just a touch of sanity are beginning to see that it is time to dump this maniac that they have inflicted on us.

What I understand is that they are gonna get rid of him as soon as it's convenient. They want to use him but I don't think they fully thought through how to handle the fallout with his hardcore supporters.

I think that this whole Russian thing as more arrests are made are gonna if not force him to step down, loose him any chance at re-election once we learn the full extent of it.

If the democrats are to bounce back because of that I don't know. However internally with the Democrats some of the DNC has admitted to rigging it for Hillary. A lot of the internal reformers have gotten a lot more funds and momentum after that. So Democrats might regain but I really hope if so it's with reform, not more corruption.

Too bad it turned out that the ogre was far more corrupt and far less dignified than the snake.
The ogre & the snake are hard to compare when the former carooms about, but the latter
holes up in her lair. The news of late makes each look worse than either side anticipated.
Were the election held again, I'd not dirty me hands with either offering from the Big Two.
I'd rather throw away me vote on a Johnson than either of those dicks.

It was the large voter turnout that did it. I'm sure the plans are already in motion to obstruct as many voting districts as possible, and there will be little or no voter protection from the current AG right down the line through the secretaries of state. I think the ACLU is going to be quite busy.

I don't think so. Trump doesn't just say stupid things from time to time, he believes them. He isn't going to be stepping down anytime soon, and republicans don't dare boot him for fear of the long game affects such a move would have on elections. So they will continue to limp along.

Will he lose the election? I hope so. But his supporters (about 35% of the public) are die hards. They will not change their mind for anything short of child molestation charges against Trump. So then the equation becomes about turnout. Even as a large minority, every one of them are likely to come out and vote for their man. If the left doesn't get their act together, I could see them bungling this and losing again (while picking up some house and senate seats).

That's what I did.

So I've already seen the first hysterical "Oh Noes! Muslim Shariah take over!" comments about this guy ->
They are an amazing but oft misunderstood group. Theologically, they're very open and have respect for other faiths, and their food is fantastic, let me tell ya! ;) Shows my priorities aye.

I've been to several of their functions as I had some students who're Sikhs. And what's funny is that my wife has taken two religious compatibility tests, and Sikhism showed up #1 both times-- and she's very devout Catholic. Go figgur.
