yes, the holy Quran has such verses!Do any of these religions have scriptures, or verses that promote themselves as exclusively good, or best?
Not Hinduism.Do any of these religions have scriptures, or verses that promote themselves as exclusively good, or best?
yes, the holy Quran has such verses!
but i think if i put them hear, some people that its proslitize!
what should i do?
i don't believe it would be proselytizing; if someone else asked for the information. i don't personally believe versions of the truth are exclusive to the Truth. i have read that the truth is even greater than the quran.
Say: "If the ocean were ink (wherewith to write out) the words of my Lord, sooner would the ocean be exhausted than would the words of my Lord, even if we added another ocean like it, for its aid."
And another verse says:
"This Spirit comes by the Command of my Lord, but you have been given only a little of the 'Knowledge'."
isn't the Truth, or Allah, even closer than your jugular? even closer than the quran?
verse 3 of chapter 5:
On this day I have perfected your religion, completed My favors to you, and have chosen Islam as your religion.
this verse refers to ghadir event and imam ali and the imams after him, which Allah completed favor and perfected religion by there imamat.
according to above verse.
verse 89 of chapter 16:
and We have revealed the Book to you explaining clearly everything, and a guidance and mercy and good news for those who submit.
verses 83 until 85 of chapter 5:
When they listen to that which was sent down to the Messenger, you will see their eyes fill with tears as they recognize its truth. They say: 'Lord, we believe. Write us among the witnesses.
Why should we not believe in Allah and in the truth that has come down to us? Why should we not hope for admission among the righteous? '
For their words Allah has rewarded them with Gardens underneath which rivers flow, where they shall live for ever. Such is the recompense of the righteous.
One of the reasons I became Hindu, outside of the mystical calling. First religion (or people) I encountered not making claims of superiourity, or saying everyone else was wrong. Not Hinduism.
Pagans...the only peaceful group. They aren't bound by anyone but themselves and the gods they believe in. It's not going to cause them to kill anyone or hate anyone just because they don't follow the will of an old book, they don't have to claim "oh we don't follow the old testament" like some do to ignore slavery and women oppression. Either you follow the book or you don't...no cherry picking.
welcome to RF!!!! food for thought.
With all due respect, no one can pick every cherry that a tree will produce in one lifetime. No one will pick every cherry on a cherry tree. Some fruit isn't edible, nor will some reach maturity. That tree will feed many, for many years, some years being leaner/heavier than others. That tree will seemingly change in appearance/form across space and time but its always going to be that tree inherently. hopefully it will bear good fruit every year and offer something of nourishment to the harvester. anyone with much knowledge knows that the withered leaves and stones are not for consumption because they produce cyanide. the tree, and it's parts can be used for ill purposes. a thing in itself is not necessarily good, or evil, its how its utilized by the picker.
like the castor bean. castor oil serves a purpose. the egyptians thought it a wonderful curative. someone else discovered it makes a very deadly poison, ricin.

I'm not good in the human language yet to my translations you're speaking of fruit, may you please explain this metaphor you're trying to use? I understand your last statement that good can not be without evil yet I don't claim my kind to be the true peaceful creature I say yet I don't say we're evil. Like every predator we must kill for food yet we make the process as painless as we can. We have bloodlust so once a month we take the life of a large warm blooded creature (considering we eat insects and fish the rest of the time as well as plants) yet our intentions are that of peace. We know life cannot be without death but humans are unhooked, they slaughter predators to "save" their deer or they like to call it "their" for some reason, they also don't want them coming to kill livestock which if you were a predator (without a gun because humans are cowards behind weapons) then you would know how hard it is to get food yet because the canadian wolf (canada as in the human zoned area of canada) was reintroduced into the US (for wait for it...because the native wolves were wiped out. Now hunters are shooting them left and right but not as bad as they do with coyotes (foxes have it even worse). They kill creatures just for existing and they don't even eat them. Life should be taken only to consume. Sure sometimes wolves don't finish meals in one sitting but at least they ate some part of it. Coyotes and wolves are skinned and there body is thrown in the trash. Humans slaughter everything in the claim that they're "overpopulated" and "invasive" I don't mind the cycle of life but humans aren't part of it. They shoot those who happen to kill and eat them in personal vendettas and by not playing by the rules they're an exclusion
it basically boils down to the simple idea that a thing, like a book, is not inherently evil in itself. its how the thing is actualized by a person that makes it positive, or negative.
When you study all the different religious teachings you will discover something in common with all of them.
The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:2-17 NKJV)
6 “You shall not murder.
7 “You shall not commit adultery.
8 “You shall not steal.
books come from people and obviously you've grasped the idea of love being a life changing experience.I understand that it's just a book and it's up to the person to decide, I myself was evil before I met a special someone who brought love into my life yet my hate was due to the rage of humans destroying the earth and wanting to eat all of them. Book based religions are inherently more hateful because they wave "god" in your face considering most book based ones are monotheistic but on the other hand you got the pagan spiritual path which is peaceful and is up to ones self, it's one based on your feelings towards what gods you want to call upon instead of fear
This last one is understood to be about kidnapping, not stealing according to Judaism.

God is Love. Love is sacred, divine, holy.
Love is the goal.
Here's a few more according to wiki.(edited to add) I think these are extrapolated from the commandment and makes some of the 613 Mitzvot.interesting.
