One who creates positive thoughts under all circumstances , is the Master.

Expression:The one who is the master of himself is always able to create the right kind of thoughts according to the circumstance. Never is there the dependency on situations or people for the right kind of responses. Since there is mastery over thoughts, there is also mastery over all words spoken and everything done.

Experience: When I am able to be a master of myself, I am able to constantly create positive thoughts. I am in touch with the inner resources and I am able to make use of these resources in a timely way. I never get confused or pressurized with outside situations, but am able to be in control in all situations.

Experiencing The Gods Power

Power in this mundane world comes with several shades of good and bad. We know that power corrupts. More often than not, a person in power is on a roller coaster ride rather than a smooth one. Power comes with a lot of limitations and burdens in this world. ‘Crown of thorns’ is an oft-used phrase for the plight of a person in power.

In this age when power and pelf have been the most influential factors that have caused moral degradation, violence, crime and suffering, very few would think of a benign or positive power. Yet the world bows with respect to the power that was manifested by saints, prophets and social reformers who used truth, peace and love to rule the hearts of millions of people.

The most powerful among all power icons is a being before whom even the most potent ones – the autocrats, emperors, tyrants, criminals, messiahs, prophets et al – bow. No matter how powerful a person is in his sphere of influence, he seeks power from the omnipotent God.

God’s power is incomparable. It is unconditional and unlimited. There are no strings attached to it. You can take as much power as long as you want from Him. It does not cost any material wealth or resources. God’s power liberates a soul from suffering. It removes burdens, relieves tension and cleans the impurities from within the soul.

On the one hand, God’s power purifies and purges the soul of all waste and negative, on the other hand it uplifts, elevates and empowers the soul with wisdom and virtues. A soul is filled with peace, joy, bliss and blessings. God’s power enables a soul to be good and do good under all circumstances. It gives divine insight, foresight and clarity to protect oneself from evil and spread the fragrance of virtues. A person who experiences God’s power radiates spiritual charm, conducts himself gracefully and achieves all tasks easily and effortlessly.

Human power can give us limited wisdom, success, wealth or support of some kind and at the most for one lifetime. But God’s power enables a soul to create the highest fortune for many lifetimes.

God is known as patit pawan – the purifier. By linking to Him, a soul regains his natural purity. God’s power enables a soul to live a truly happy life in Satyuga or Heaven created by God on earth. A pure soul enjoys long and healthy life free from disease blessed with unimaginable prosperity and sweet relationships. There is no suffering or dearth of anything for a soul blessed with God’s power for many births in Heaven.

Effectively, God’s power is such that it not only purifies human beings but also the entire nature and elements. The earth becomes bountiful and rich in Heaven and all elements work in harmony to serve the pure human beings. Nature will not create any upheaval or calamity in Heaven. All this happens due to God’s power.

When does God manifest His power? At the end of Kaliyuga (Iron Age). God recreates Heaven with the power of truth and non-violence. Shiva Jayanti is the commemoration of God’s divine task of creating Satyuga and destroying Kaliyuga. He enables the human souls to conquer the vices like lust, anger, greed and ego and to perform pure actions with the help of His wisdom and power. By becoming soul-conscious and by staying in His loving remembrance, human souls regain their spiritual power.

God’s power is the only means to combat the negativity in Iron Age. There are good souls in this world but they do not have the power to eradicate evil and make the world good. Negative forces spread easily and fast. Sin leads to suffering and enslaves the soul in the bondage of karmic burdens. In the course of the conflict with evil, human souls lose the will power to do good or they are helpless to do good and prevent evil from taking place.

God’s power frees us from struggling with evil and being defeated by it. His power insulates and empowers the soul from within constantly safeguarding and helping him to discern and destroy negative forces before they attack. God’s power cancels all karmic debts of human souls and completely eliminates negativity from the world. It brings an end to all human problems and suffering and re-establishes purity, peace and happiness on earth for a long period.

Lightness comes when words are accurate.

Projection:Accurate words means there is nothing extra spoken. Whatever has to be said is said to the point. Such words being short are sweet to hear too and are those that never hurt others. They bring about the result needed accurately.

Solution: When my words are to the point, there is a lot of lightness experienced within me and my physical energy is saved too. Others too experience benefit through my words and so I naturally get blessings from them, which helps me move forward with lightness.

Maintaining Your Self-Esteem In Relationships

In any relationship, initially it is a totally positive projection. There is a person who projects on to you all that is positive: you are marvelous, you are unique, you are indispensable, you are valuable. That positive projection generates a euphoric state, of bliss, of wellbeing, whereby you are flying. You feel loved, cared for, needed and valued. That positive projection lasts for a time until, with the dependencies and expectations, the negative projection begins.
You should have called me, you should have told me, you should have come at this time, you should be more like this, you should be less like that, you should have done this or that.

With these expectations, demands and dependencies, that positive projection and flying state disappear. The other has started interfering in your personal space and the harmony that was there previously is lost. One needs to learn to have a positive vision of oneself. You are marvelous, you are unique; don't depend on them telling you so. This does not mean you need to feed your ego, but that you need to make the most positive emerge from within you. Resort to all your creative, positive, spiritual capacity, so that you do not depend on others having to project positive things onto you in order to feel good. On feeling good in an independent and autonomous way, you will be able to share with others peace, love and positivism. You won't be in the state of a victim but will be true rulers and controllers of your own life with solid self-esteem.

To give regard to others' ideas is to be a learner.

Projection:The one who is open to the ideas of others is the one who is able to learn from everything. He is humble and has respect for all. He has the authority over what he does, he is the master and is yet open to learning.

Solution: Even when my best plan and ideas are rejected or criticised, I am able to remain cool and light because of my regard for others and their ideas. Because of this I am able to constantly learn and experience progress.

REFLECT
To begin the day with a powerful thought is to ensure the day is filled with positivity.

Thought to Ponder:
Any machinery, once it is set, remains set and automatically continues to work according to its setting. To have the right thought right in the beginning of the day is to ensure that the whole day is filled with power and positivity. Every thought, word and deed will automatically continue according to that setting. Situations might come to disturb, but because the machinery is set, the influence of the situation would be less.

Point to Practice:
Today I will begin my day with a one powerful thought. It could be even a simple thought like "I am happy today" or "Whatever I set out to do today, I will be successful" or "I am fortunate". Such thoughts act as magnets attracting positivity from everyone and everything around.

To be a self-sovereign is to be in control.

Projection:The one who is self-sovereign never finds difficulty being in control. He doesn't have to get out of control and then bring himself back to control in any circumstance. He is the master of his self. The moment he gives an order to his self, every thought, word and action is immediately set in order.

Solution: To be self-sovereign means to be aware of my own specialities and work with them. When I am self-sovereign I experience myself to be free. This is because nothing binds me and I am able to win over situations and my weaknesses too. Thus I find myself to be in total happiness in all situations.

To stamp every thought with the stamp of determination is to be victorious.

Projection:When there is determination in thoughts, there is naturally the ability to give the best in spite of all the obstacles. Situations will not deter such a person from achieving what he set out to. And so there is naturally constant victory for the one who is always determined.

Solution: When there is determination in my thoughts, I am never afraid, whatever happens. In fact obstacles only serve to strengthen determination. I never give up what I have started. It is determination that enables me to add power to my thoughts and make them practical.

Consciousness Cleansing

Purity of the mind is something that is to be made the aim of your life and is the most important characteristic of your life. After all, the purer you are, the more happiness you attract in your life. Each time we have an impure thought we transmit an energy packet to the universe of a negative nature. That energy packet will then come back to us in the form of a sorrow filled circumstance which can be of any nature. So, purity of the soul or our consciousness is the foundation of all our life experiences which come to us from the outside world.

If a person is regularly having negative life experiences in the form of a series of body illnesses, that means she has negative energy inside her due to some negative action of her immediate or far off past. This negative energy is at the present moment coming back to her in the form of negative scenes in her life. So what she needs to do at that point of time is to create a lot of positive thoughts, full of purity i.e. thoughts free from lust, anger, greed, attachment and ego and full of peace, love, joy and spiritual power. Also, these thoughts should be full of high self-esteem, and focused towards the negative scenes in her life i.e. creating these powerful thoughts and then complementing them with thoughts of success. This can do magic and wonders and attract the right solutions to her illnesses and bring her sorrows to an end. This is what a pure consciousness can do. Also, if a person is suffering from regular financial losses and there is no end to them. He could start reading something positive every morning and meditate every morning for a few minutes. This will make his consciousness clean and clear and over a period of a few days, he will start noticing a change in his negative situations and he will attract positive wealth earning opportunities in his life. This is guaranteed and is consciousness cleansing in practical life. It is the essence of our lives and the key to the invisible treasures of peace and joy in our lives.

To have power means to enjoy the variety of life.

Expression:When there is the inner strength there is enthusiasm to give the best and also to learn and improve with every obstacle. To work with inner power is to be like a skilled player whose focus is on enjoying the match too rather than just on winning.

Experience: When I have learned the art of focusing on my strengths, I am able to enjoy the variety scenes that life brings for me. I would enjoy dealing with all these different scenes in a natural and easy way, and also be naturally victorious. And so I have the benefit of double enjoyment.

My Thoughts Create My Destiny (Part 1)

Spiritual wisdom teaches us that happiness is independent of our accomplishments, possessions and relationships. Yet, some days we feel pleasant, some days anxious. Some days we are enthusiastic, some days dull. This means that sometimes our feelings are not in our control. The fact is that each of us can create feelings and destiny of our choice using Thought Power. How do thoughts manifest destiny? Answer is in a simple chain moving forward sequentially from our thoughts to feelings, attitude, actions, habits, personality and destiny. Let us understand how they work.

1. My Every Thought Generates My Feeling.
Thoughts are my creation. Every thought gives rise to a feeling, so how I feel is decided by the quality of my thought. So if I consciously create a pure, positive thought, I feel happy. Happiness is a feeling, an emotion and an experience I go through. Likewise I also experience feelings like peace, love, pain, anger. Suppose I create a thought - I enjoy working in this office. it generates a positive emotion and I feel happy. On the contrary, if I create a thought - I dislike working here, it generates a negative emotion and I feel dejected. My inner power depletes so my job feels tougher as I get weaker. Instead, if I think - I have challenges at office but will face them, my positivity helps me to overcome them. 2. My Feelings Develop My Attitude.
My thoughts create feelings at every moment whether in my relationships, workplace or a shopping mall. Everyone is who they are, everything is what it is. But how I feel about people and situations over a period develops my attitude towards them, determining whether I accept, respect or reject them. So if I create a thought - I enjoy working in this office over a period of time, the resulting happiness defines my attitude about my office - one of belongingness.

It is on the basis of actions that praise is received.

Expression:The one who only talks but is not able to put his talk into practice does not become worthy of praise. On the other hand, the one who is able to bring his good thoughts and words into action becomes worthy of praise. Such a person's actions become inspirational for others and encourage them to follow him.

Experience: When I am able to act according to my thoughts and words, I am able to take inspiration to do more. For every positive action that I do, I experience support and good wishes from others which encourage me constantly. My account of positivity is always full and it takes me further to a cycle of positivity making it a habit. So I find that I don't have to work hard for performing positive actions.

Seven Techniques To Let Go Off The Past (Part 1)

Almost each one of us carries a heavy or subtle burden of negative events and happenings that have taken place in our life sometime in the past, either an immediate past or a far-off one; which reduce our present contentment levels immensely. The negative past could be of any form – you experienced the loss of a close loved one due to a break-up or sudden death; you went through a serious physical illness or a very lean phase of financial loss, you were abused on a mental or physical level; you were not treated properly by a colleague at office and undue advantage was taken of you; you performed an inappropriate action and you repent up till now, even after many years have passed, and many such similar and different types of incidents.

There are three different types of processes for removing negative past memories from our consciousness:

Modifying - A negative past event is modified into a positive, beneficial form and then stored in the consciousness.

Forgetting - Memories of a negative past event are forgotten and do not exist either in our conversations or in our conscious mind or thoughts, but traces of those memories exist in the sub-conscious mind.

Erasing - No traces of the negative past exist in the consciousness and memories of it are completely removed from the sub-conscious also.

We need to take the help of all the different aspects or techniques of spirituality and not depend on only one or two for these removal processes. In the next two days’ messages, we will explain all these different techniques of spirituality, which if incorporated in our life, help us experience lightness and emotional freedom from the past. All of them have their own unique importance.

The one who serves others is the richest.

Expression:To be in a position to serve others means to be aware of the resources and treasures within. When all the powers that are within are used for the benefit of the self and others they tend to multiply and increase. So the one who continues to serve others continues to become richer.

Experience: When I serve, not only do I become richer with what I use, but for having served unselfishly I also become richer with the blessings and good wishes that emerge from the hearts of others. I am able to experience the real richness and beauty of life as there is a lot of love, happiness and joy in my life.

Here is a glimpse into the Brahma Kumaris' teachings, taken from BK publications.

"Remember you are the living being, the soul, and not the body made of matter. Let the soul be in command of the senses of this physical instrument.

See all others with love as your brothers and sisters. See only the shining star, the pure soul in the center of the forehead.

Let the mind go beyond humans and prophets to the Supreme, the source of light and might.

Remember the Home of all souls, the Silent World of Light, and prepare to return there.

Be aware that every action has an equal reaction that returns to the self; let each action be one that gives only happiness.

Purity is the soul's birthright. Let thoughts, words and actions be filled with this.

Begin each day in silence, so that the influence of God is felt throughout the day.

Let the "third eye" constantly remain open so that each moment is guided by wisdom.

Keep your own perfect image as the goal. Within this is the harmony of the masculine and feminine energies, the authority of the male, the gentle virtues of the female."

The BK meditate on an elliptical golden-red light, said to be the original home of the soul. Residing here is the Supreme Soul, or God, also in the form of a point of light, infintesimal in size but unlimited in qualities. They meditate thus, "I am peaceful, calm energy. I am light. Flying beyond this physical world I enter a region of subtle golden-red light. This is my original home, where God, my Father/Mother, also resides. In this, my silent home, I absorb God's vibrations and I am able to express and share these pure vibrations with others."

Sidebar: "A Message from God"

Here is a short excerpt from one of many messages from God the Brahma Kumaris have received.

"Those who in the present are rulers of the self, will have the right to rule in the future. And those souls who follow the elevated, divine code of conduct now, will be able to control religious affairs in the future. This impure world is now being transformed through the Power of Purity. This power cools down the temper of souls burning in the fire of vices, and brings them relief from their many burdens…it transforms the self and others."

Invaluable Versions of Mateshwari – 23/01/57
The whole world knows that God is One and some consider God to be a Power. Some say He is nature (kudrat). In essence, people believe in God in one form or another. Whatever they believe in, that thing must exist for that is why it has a name. However, there are as many opinions about God as there are people in this world, even though it is just one thing.
People generally have four types of opinions.
Some say that God is omnipresent.
Some say that the brahm element is everywhere, they say that there is only the brahm element everywhere.
Some say God is the Truth and that Maya is an illusion.
Some say that there is no God, and that there is only nature; such people do not believe in God. These are some of many opinions. They think that the world is matter and that there is nothing else. They believe in the world, but they do not believe in the Master, God, who created the world. There are as many opinions as there are people in the world.
Ultimately, it is God Himself who comes and makes a decision about all of these opinions. God comes and decides about this world, that is, only the One who has all powers, can explain about His creation expansively. He alone gives us the introduction of the Creator and then He also introduces His creation to us.
Some people even ask: What proof is there that we are souls? This can be explained: Since we say that we are souls, the children of that God, then this is something to ask yourself about. When I continue to say “I, I”, throughout the day, what power is that, and what to us is the One whom we remember? When we remember the One, it is definitely because we want something from that One. It is only when we remember Him at every moment that we can have some attainment. Look, whatever human beings do, they definitely have one or another pure desire in their mind. Some desire happiness and some desire peace and so, whenever a desire arises, there is definitely one to receive and the One who fulfils that desire. That must definitely be the One who gives, for that is why He is remembered. So, now the significance as to who He is has to be understood fully. The power that is speaking is I, myself the soul, whose form is like a point of light. When a person leaves his physical body, that light moves out of the body. Although it is not visible with these eyes, it proves that it does not have a physical form, but people definitely do realise that that soul has left the body. We would only call that a soul, the soul which is a form of light. Therefore, God, the One who creates the soul would surely also be the same as the soul. Whatever someone is like, whatever He creates would be the same.
So, why do we say of the Supreme Soul that He is Supreme compared to us souls? This is because He has no effect of Maya on Him, whereas we souls are definitely affected by Maya because we enter the cycle of birth of death. That is the difference between souls and the Supreme Soul. Achcha.

Some Points From Murli 10-10-2017
Sannyasis have renunciation of karma. They simply have yoga with the brahm element. However, they are unable to have yoga throughout the whole day. They have yoga in order to go to the brahm element. They feel that by remembering the brahm element they will merge into it. However, they’re unable to remember the brahm element throughout the whole day. Their sins cannot be absolved through that remembrance. The Purifier is remembered. Only the Father is that. They don’t call the brahm element or other elements the Purifier. Everyone calls the Father, the Purifier. No one calls brahm, the Father, nor does anyone do tapasya of the brahm element; they do tapasya of Shiva. There are temples to Shiva. Can a temple be built to the elements? Souls reside in the brahm element in their egg form and this is why the name ‘Brahmand’ is mentioned in the scriptures. That is not really a name, for it is the home. For instance, so many corporeal human beings reside beneath the sky element and so souls reside up there in the same way.

When you speak of creation, it is as though He creates a new world. The word ‘establishment’ is better. He purifies the impure through Brahma. The word ‘Purifier’ is definitely needed. Everyone in the golden age is in salvation whereas everyone in the iron age is in degradation. Why? How did degradation take place? No one knows this. They sing that the Bestower of Salvation for all is One. The soul understands that this is a play. They sing praise of the Father as ‘Sada Shiva’ (Constantly Benevolent). Shiva is the One who gives happiness. He is remembered as the Remover of Sorrow and the Bestower of Happiness. There used to be the kingdom of Lakshmi and Narayan in Bharat. It is no longer that. Lakshmi and Narayan are called a goddess and god. Who established their kingdom? God is incorporeal and souls receive the inheritance from Him. It is souls that take 84 births and continue to descend. While descending, they become degraded.
That Father is the Bestower of Salvation and we are all brothers; we are not the Father. It is not said that the Father adopted the form of brothers; no.
This is why you first have to ask them: What is your relationship with the Supreme Father, the Supreme Soul? They all know their physical relations. The incorporeal One is the Father of souls. He is
called Heavenly God, the Father. The Father must definitely have made you into the masters of the new creation. We are no longer the masters. We were happy. So, who made us unhappy? People don't know this. Ravan’s kingdom has continued for half the cycle.

There is a difference between the Supreme Soul Shiva and Shankar the deity. The Supreme has been worshipped in the oval or egg-shaped form of the Shivalinga. The Linga Purana says that the one who destroys the world and re-establishes the same with Divine Power is called 'Linga'. In Shiva temples throughout India - including at Amarnath, Somnath, Kashi Vishwanath and Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar - and Nepal's Pashupatinath, He is depicted as the linga, an elliptical representation in stone.

According to legend, Rama invoked Shiva at Rameshwaram and Krishna offered prayers to Him at Gopeshwar in Vrindavan. Shiva temples have been erec-ted here honouring that memory. Shiva is worshipped as the Supreme Father of all deities and of Rama and Krishna.

Shiva's representation as linga is to show His incorporeal nature. He does not have any male or female human-like form like the deities; He is the incorporeal point of light. The 12 renowned Shiva temples in India are also known as Jyotirlinga Maths, signifying His form of Light. Incorporeal Shiva is also known as Trimurti, the creator of the three subtle deities - Brahma, Vishnu and Shankar.

The three lines marked on the Shivalinga symbolise His triple characteristics of Trimurti: Trinetri - the one with the third eye of wisdom, Trikaldarshi - the one who sees the three aspects of time, and Trilokinath - the lord of three worlds. Shiva is also known as Shambhu or Swayambhu and Sadashiva meaning that Shiva is the eternal Soul who has no creator above Him.

Swami Dayanand Saraswati says Shiva is the "One who is bliss and the giver of Happiness to all". Supreme Soul Shiva brings liberation or mukti and salvation or jeevan mukti to all.

In south India, Lingayats believe that Shiva is the Supreme God. The Ishtalinga worn by the Veerashaivas on their body is technically a miniature of Linga and is considered to be an amorphous representation of Shiva which also proves that Shiva was worshipped in the oval-shaped figure. It was much later that Shiva and deity Shankar came to be presumed as one. In Vaishik Darshan and Vedanta, Linga is mentioned as the image of the body-less Supreme God. It is free of personal characteristics.
The ignorance about Shiva is on account of confusing Shankar with Shiva. Deity Shankar has an angelic body whereas Shiva is oval shaped and worshipped as Shiva Linga. Shankar has a human form residing in the subtle world region called Sankarpuri; he is responsible for destruction of the old world order. In some paintings and sculptures, Shankar is shown meditating in front of the Shiva Linga, which also indicates that the two are different from each other.

The festival of Shivratri symbo-lises the divine incarnation of Shiva on this earth. The night indicates the moral degradation in souls that sets in due to the ignorance in this world. The true fasting (upvaas plus close company) on Shivratri is that we link our intellect with Shiva and stay in His company. The true Jag-ran or awakening means to awa-ken from the slumber of ignorance and to protect the self from the negative influence of vices such as lust, anger, greed and ego.
The three lines marked on the Shivalinga symbolise triple characteristics of Trimurti: Trinetri - the one with the third eye of wisdom, Trikaldarshi - the one who sees the three aspects of time, and Trilokinath - the lord of three worlds.

PURITY
5618319.jpg

Be pure Like LOTUS.
Remember Purity is the First step on the way which lead you to the HEAVEN.
Purity of Heart and clarity of mind gives the Surety for SUCCESS. Purity is a quality of God and so being the CHILDREN of the GOD its our basic quality. Purity is Within every Heart. We just need to find it and with the Intention to FOLLOW the Will of GOD we will Surely get it. So Be Your TRUE SELF and ALIGNED with GOD.
TOLERANCE
6617612.jpg

Tolerance is the most necessary quality of man. To be tolerant is to respect the freedom of other people, it’s also to respect the way of thinking and the way of behaving from other people. Intolerance leads to the worst kinds of disaster. In the Mythology and History we can find many Horrible acts of Intolerance.
We cannot make Justice, because we are intolerant to hearing the views which are different for ours. If we culture tolerance we will be free from all the Pain of envy within ourselves. Then our soul will live in Peace and Happiness.
PATIENCE
8688892.jpg

Patience is the state of endurance under difficult
circumstances. Patience gives us "Power to Adjust". Through Patience an individual can grow closer to GOD and thus attain True Peace. A patient man is better than a Warrior and a man who rules his temper is better than who takes a city. Remember Winning your Goal is not the toughest Victory, But Winning your Patience to Achieve that Goal is the most Toughest One. Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties and obstacles vanish.
INTROVERTNESS
4981868.jpg

Many people consider introvert as synonym for “Shyness". Shyness is a lack of social interaction based on a fear or insecurity; introversion is a preference, and introverts aren’t necessarily afraid or insecure around people.
A healthy introvert doesn’t mind social interactions.
They are often independent thinkers, problem-solvers, and creative types who work best. Being introverted doesn’t mean you don’t have friends.

To be Introvert means find your own bad habits and weaknesses and try to overcome them, instead of seeing the drawbacks of others.
HUMANITY
1518046.jpg

Humanity is The quality of being a Human. Its a Peculiar nature of man, by which he is distinguished from other beings. Love and Compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them Humanity cannot survive. We must not lose faith in Humanity. Humanity is an ocean; if a few drops of the ocean are Dirty, the ocean does not become Dirty. Don't Forget that You are the Children of GOD. Try to obtain his Qualities.
SWEETNESS
7817203.jpg

Human's nature should be sweet like an Angel. Only a man of sweet tongue or sweet nature can pacify the anger of others. Sweet persons listen to everyone carefully. Everyone wants their Friendship because they have an Impressive Personality. A man of Quarrelsome nature and an Egoist can't earn respect from anywhere. To be Sweet we have to conquer our Ego and Anger. Remember EGO is like Dust in the eyes,
Without clearing the Dust; We can't see anything clearly.
So "Clear the EGO & see the WORLD." And be an ANGEL.
FEARLESSNESS
7687842.jpg

Fearlessness is the quality of being Fearless. True fearlessness is not the reduction of fear but going beyond fear. Fear is the Greatest enemy a man can have but In order to experience fearlessness, it is necessary to experience fear.
Remember it is unnatural to not feel Fear.
Fearless people have the Power To Face every situation, every difficulty of Life.
Fearlessness as a virtue that will help people make decisions both great and small, impacting both their careers and daily lives. Fear can take many forms.
Mainly people are afraid to listen the Truth.
CHEERFULNESS

Cheerfulness Give us Power to Co- Operate. Courage and cheerfulness will not only carry you over the Rough places in Life, But will enable you to bring Comfort and help to the Weak-Hearted and will Console you in the Sad Hours. Cheerfulness brightens the mind and adds a sparkle to the eye. For this reason, remain cheerful always. We feel happy, hopeful, encouraged and bright in the presence of a cheerful person. A cheerful person has a Pleasing and Graceful behaviour and everybody likes to associate oneself with him. A cheerful person takes a happy heart into Meditation and Prayer, and comes back with the Sunshine and Smiles of the highest Divine Consciousness. Such a person has the faith that the Divine, with whom he is in communion, by meditation and constant remembrance, will clear all difficulties, and help overcome all trials of life.

Imagine yourself as a capable, empowered, successful and happy soul.

Imagine being aware of each thought and reaction that comes to mind - and then ruling it. Within a nanosecond, you claim the power to act on the idea or ditch it.

Consider the negative traits in your personality that you wish would not play out: the thoughts of self-doubt, sabotage, low self-regard, guilt, worry etc. At your will, they will never again be spoken by you or affect your relationships at home, at work or on the sports field.

Some might baulk at being so ‘in control' of themselves. But if you really ‘get' soul, you can ‘get in control' of yourself. Just yourself. Other people's lives and games are their own.

You are only responsible for yourself. Our mums and dads did what they did - sometimes well, sometimes not - but that time has passed, and you are now the independent soul, who can choose how to live.

With Raja Yoga meditation you can throw off the old patterns of influence and recreate yourself to be how you want to be. That is the power of Raja Yoga.

This ancient meditation practice harnesses your natural powers and trains your mind to be your friend. You are not your mind; you are not your body. You have a mind and you have a body. These ‘tools' sometimes work well and at other times may need calm and exercise to get back to a healthy path.

We all make mistakes. We all waste resources. We waste our words, our energy and our time until we pause and think deeply about what matters in our life. When we hold on tight to our views, the mind shrinks and smothers any power to love. In that state, the soul can't breathe new energy into a situation - and everyone loses.

But when we sit quietly, cancelling all mindsets, and allow ourselves to know the deep peace of the soul, miraculous changes can happen for the better. People will understand you clearly, new doors will open, friends will call and that stiff neck will relax!

Raja Yoga teaches us to step back and observe life, take a calm breath, cool our reactions, and step forward in the way we choose - independent of others urging us to think or act as they wish.

Raja Yoga sets you free. Raja Yoga releases the power to respond with love.
