How Did We Get Here?

What is the Cause that we might know the end result?

Do we need a point of reference for the beginning to arrive at the end?

all evidence points to a large explosion however what came before that no one knows.
if everything can come from nothing, and we know everything will eventually return to nothing
this could likely be a cycle of death and rebirth.

I suppose the 'how did we get here' question could be answered in two (2) ways:
We got to this awful state of affairs today by ignoring God's Golden Rule and adopting selfish ways causing what is described as these last days of badness on Earth found in the words at 2 Timothy 3:1-15,13.

Also, the cause of how we got here can go back to the beginning with Adam and Eve.
The 'cause' of how we got here was through God's 'power and strength' (energy) as per Isaiah 40:26; Psalms 104:30.

The first clue about the ' end result ' is found in the Bible's first prophecy found at Genesis 3:15.
Jesus would prove to be that promised ' seed ' (offspring or Messiah) to come and bring a desired end result.
With the coming of Jesus' 1,000-year governemntal rule over Earth the desired end result of his coming is that earth's nations will be healed according to Revelation 22:2. That curing or healing is in connection to God's promise to father Abraham that ALL families of Earth will be blessed, and ALL nations of Earth will be blessed. Blessed with the benefit of healing for earth's nations - Genesis 12:3; Genesis 22:18 - when even enemy death will be No more on Earth as mentioned at Isaiah 25:8 and 1 Corinthians 15:24-26.

I find at the writings of Isaiah 40:26 that everything did Not come from nothing because it says that it is from God's Power and Strength (His abundant dynamic energy) that caused the material realm of existence to come into being.

the bible is not evidence. it was written by men who didn't know where the sun went at night. there is hardly any scientific truth in it.

though something interesting is the universe requires no energy to create.

"Matter, of course, has positive energy. But gravity has negative energy. (For example, you have to add energy to the earth in order to tear it away from the sun. One separated far from the solar system, the earth then has zero gravitational energy. But this means that the original solar system had negative energy.)

If you do the math, you find out that the sum total of matter in the universe can cancel against the sum total of negative gravitational energy, yielding a universe with zero (or close to zero) net matter/energy. So, in some sense, universes are for free. It does not take net matter and energy to create entire universes. In this way, something can pop into existence from nothing."
or therefor you don't need a God to flip the switch with omnipotent power. as the universe takes no energy to make since it all equates to 0. you may need a little but a small small small amount to small that it is produced by the void itself may be enough. we dont know. all evidence points to one giant explosion of energy and creation that we feel the shockwaves of today. however to say nothing existed before that is a bit extreme of a claim. however, it is theoretically possible. far more likely that, that small amount of energy created everything than it creating a sentient being to create everything. just cut out the middle man.. you may still possibly need a God though or the setting up and solidification of the Laws like parameters for a program.

You may find this interesting

It's a pdf entitled 'Spontaneous creation of the universe from nothing' in which the authors mathematically show that a universe can arise from nothing.

Bridging the Gap Between Believers and Skeptics
I would be shocked if I later found out that the Universe was created from nothing. While the Big Bang is almost universally (pun intended) accepted as the correct theory of where we came from, what happens before that is still just a mystery.

My views on the matter is pretty simple. Atheists like to use the complexity case to argue against it, but I believe there is something larger than the Universe which natural forces created such, and so on with finite regress, until you go back to the very beginning and the infinite complexity of The Omniverse.

BTW the religious study of creation is called 'religious cosmology'. You learn something new every day. :)

BTW I have a book called The Epic of Evolution by Eric Chaisson that I hold to high regard.
