Like was there a meeting in heaven about this?

God: ok Guy's this Father-Son team thing is Good but I think we need a third person in on this group project.

Jesus: Hmm who should we add? I know a few humans.

God: no no no, humans suck we need something better... something smarter...

God: yes its white. its a Bird. Birds are like Angels.

Michael: Um sir...

God: What now!

Michael: Um its just Dove's have a habit of pooping on everything and they die if they eat rice should we really-

God: Magic Dove's! every dove shall be the dove.

Michael: Omnipresent doves?

God: exactly. We shall call him Dave.

Jesus: Welcome aboard Dave

Dave:...

And that is how the Trinity was formed.

I don't believe in fairy tales.

I can show you that This entire concept of Christian trinity is fiction . Throughout the Bible, the Holy Spirit is described as the power of God. It is never addressed as an individual or a separate entity. Here are some of the scriptures that prove the Holy Spirit as the power of God.

  • Luke 1:35 – “And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the POWER OF THE MOST HIGH will overshadow you…”
  • Act 1:8 – “But you will receive POWER when the Holy Spirit has come upon you…“.
  • Zechariah 4:6 – “… Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.”
  • Micah 3:8 – “But as for me, I am filled with POWER, with the Spirit of the LORD…”
  • II Timothy 1:7 – For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control”.
Holy Spirit can be shared or distributed – “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost” (Heb 6:4).

And on the Top of that
Jesus never called the Holy Spirit as His Father even if He was conceived by it.
If Holy Spirit is an entity in the God Family, Jesus should have called the Holy Spirit as Father since we can read in Matthew 1:20;

“But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.”

Then ,
Paul’s salutations in His epistles never mentioned the Holy Spirit.
If the Holy Spirit is a God persona, we should have read Paul mentioning it in his salutations in all his epistles. If he did not, then it will be a great insult to the Holy Spirit!

Paul did not just ignore the Holy Spirit once, twice or thrice, but 13 TIMES! Surely, we should have seen God punishing or even just telling Paul that he forgot someone in the God family, right?

I believe you have manged to do a lot more fiction that Trinity believers ever conceived of doing.

I believe it makes no sense to discuss how good it tastes or what bird can beat it up because it never existed. "like a dove" is not the same thing as a dove.

Was thinking of the dove supposedly released by Noah. And it was just a joke, get over yourself.

I believe there is no connection.

I believe I was aware of that but I was thinking you had pigeon holed the dove.

I believe it is always a good time to make a theological point.
