Well, people are not going to be walking around in heaven gaping and lusting after nude people. I would think that is pretty obvious.

Okay, you win the argument based on Job 1:6 alone.

Oh, and regarding our particular faith view on the definition of the sons of God in Gen 6. The Baptist faith that I was raised in taught that the sons of God in Gen 6 was talking about humans. But even as a younger person I did not think that held water. I thought, 'what is special about a human to human breeding that causes giants?' They were described as "giants", and the "mighty men of old".

I remain undecided on that. I try not to read into scripture for fear I'll read in something that isn't there.

No. Each time the Bible depicts people or angels in heaven they are always dressed in white.
The only verse mentioning angels in white is John 20:12 where the angels were down on earth, not in heaven. For all you know their white garments are simply traveling-while-away-from-heaven clothes.

"And she saw two angels in white sitting there, one at the head and one at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain."

Also, there is no sex, i.e. male-female, in heaven as Jesus said:

Matthew 22:30
At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.
Don't confuse a lack of marriage with a lack sexual identity.

I had the good fortune of having been blessed with an excellent Bible teacher.

I will not argue with scripture. As far as I'm concerned it is absolute and perfect.

That is good. Unfortunately for us English speakers, unless we are educated in the original languages, we are at the mercy of the translators. For instance the word translated as giants in the King James bible was 'Nephilim'. I think that means something like "fallen ones". Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I think the word "Nephilims" can be interpreted as either "giants" or "fallen ones."

So let's just say that originally God did create Adam and Eve and they were naked in the Garden of Eden.
My version of Heaven isn't based on ancient myth.
In my version of Heaven, when we die we shed our meat selves. Along with those go our hormones and instincts and genitalia, probably even our identify which would include our gender.

The part of us that really matters( our soul if you will) merges back into the Ground of Being, or Original Source, or whatever you want to call That. We return to being one with God, if you want to put it that way. Like a pitcher of ocean being poured back into the sea.

We don't cease to be, we do cease to see ourselves as separate from the rest of God/Creation.
So, no, there is no nudity because there aren't any bodies, meat selves.

The belief is that we will have glorified bodies. So there will be flesh in heaven. I hope bowel movements don't smell as bad. Maybe they will be pink and smell like roses and incense :p
As I've heard it told, because those who make it to heaven have no need for food they will have no bowels, or stomach, or esophagus, or butt hole, or pee-pee. And because there is no baby making in heaven women wont have vaginas, estruses, ovaries, or boobs.

Hmmm, . . . . . thinking about it, both males and females could well look like this in heaven.

If the original state of human beings before the fall was nakedness, don't you think that will be the status of redeemed and glorified human beings in heaven?

I would imagine if the Garden of Eden story is true, that Garden was a prefigurement of the gardens of paradise.

Do you think there will be a dress code in heaven? Is there anything indecent about the public display of the human body?

Sure, why not. Heaven is, without saying whether such a place exists or not, a fantasy created by men. Maybe the reality, if there is such a thing will be different. However until there is actual knowledge, you are free to imagine it to be whatever you want it to be.

No! No! No! No opinion at at all. Thing is, you simply have no evidence that "Each time the Bible depicts people or angels in heaven they are always dressed in white.." And as it turns out, the Bible depicts angels dressed in white only once, and that's while they were on Earth.

So, unless you have evidence to the contrary, for all you know their white garments are simply traveling-while-away-from-heaven clothes.

I certainly hope so...just sayin'.
Assuming there is a God, I would say the female body is his Masterpiece of Art... Such a thing should not be hidden in a place like paradise, where Joy, perfection, and pleasure are at its Heights... After all, scripture says the body is a temple... A Temple should be on display not hidden

What? Me worry?

Preach it, Brother!
