1. everything that the Bible says really isn't what God is saying
2. the scriptures which seem to pay special attention to the people who are not for God mean something different than what you say they mean
or
3. God is a hypocrite.

I had another thought about how foretelling goat-like people is not conducive to the prophecies about what Christ will really do.

To prophesy goat like people is to separate them at the telling of the prophesy, sometimes before they are even born.

If it is blasphemy to say God is a hypocrite then it is blasphemy to insinuate that God does not obey God's own rules.

I suggest you stop reading the Bible with the proof reader mentality, like you know more than the people who did the translating. Stop looking for mistakes and translations errors and just read the Bible!

2 Timothy 4:3-4 (ESV Strong's) 3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

IMO, it's not referring to worldly people, "they will turn away from listening to the truth". It's people that have listened to the truth, but either didn't like it or, didn't want to believe it, so they find teachers who teach what they want to hear.

When a person turns away from following the way, the truth and the life he becomes a worldly person.

Look at understanding like a chess board (I might think of a better analogy, but probably not.)
The Father and the Son are playing chess. But the winners are not them. The winners are the chess pieces which go in the right direction.

With each move, understanding grows.

Now, imagine YOU are the one moving the pieces. If a piece will not move to where you are sending it, it will be called wicked. OK?

Daniel 12:9-11 (ESV Strong's) 9 He said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many shall purify themselves and make themselves white and be refined, but the wicked shall act wickedly. And none of the wicked shall understand, but those who are wise shall understand. 11 And from the time that the regular burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.

OK. The word end is used here. 1 Kings 17:7
It says, Young's Literal Translation
"And it cometh to pass, at the end of days, that the brook drieth up, for there hath been no rain in the land,

So, it might mean that for him there would be no understanding until he finished what God gave him to do.
It isn't talking about the end of the world (which end might come when the sun does the sun's thing). I shall say here that it is talking about the end of his instruction.

Well, I understand that the abomination is that Man handled God's Word. They changed it.
If God's Word is what leads to freedom and peace, then changing it doesn't lead there. Right?
