Why did God protect Cain in Genesis?

Male and Female 6th day----7th day God rested------ then on the next day following the 7th day, God created Adam and Eve.

Cain got his wife from those who were created on the 6th day.

That after Cain left and went into the country of Nod, this is where Cain got his wife, from those who were created on the 6th day of creation.

Now it's up to you, You can follow man's teachings or follow God's teachings.

IOW, this is your own personal interpretation of what Genesis says? You are not asking me to choose between God's teachings and men, you are asking me to choose between God's teachings and yours. The choice for me is simple.

That is the most twisted reading of Genesis that I have ever heard.

1) The creative days were not 24 hour periods. They were extended eons of time that simply had a beginning and an end. The word "yohm" in Hebrew does not only mean a single earth "day"...it can mean a specific period of time in which something took place.

2) Eve had to "become the mother of everyone living"....which in your interpretation makes God a liar. "Everyone living" had to come from Eve.

3) Genesis 2:4...."4 This is a history of the heavens and the earth in the time they were created, in the day that Jehovah God made earth and heaven."

This is a "history" of what God accomplished in "the day" (not a 24 hour period) that God made the earth and heaven."
The entire creation is spoken of as taking place in a "day".

4) There is no conclusion to the seventh day....no declaration from God that it was "good".....why? Is it because God somehow failed to produce what he wanted to? Can God fail? Or was it because he allotted the seventh day for the outworking of his purpose respecting his material creation, and has yet to bring it to its logical conclusion? The apostle Paul spoke of the 7th day continuing in his time, so it has not yet been brought to its finish. Aspects of the final parts of this scenario are in their outworking right now. The end of this wicked, satanic system governing mankind will come, and Christ will usher in the rule of his Kingdom of 1,000 years. After one final test, he will deliver a perfected, sinless human race to his Father, (Revelation 20:1-9) and the 7th day will also be concluded with everything being "very good".

God's teachings, will tell us that God created a male and female on the 6th day and then after the 7th day had pass,
That on the day following the 7th day, God created Adam and Eve.

That is complete nonsense. Who told you this? Who else believes this? If all humans did not inherit their sinfulness from Adam, then Christ's sacrifice makes no sense. He is the "last Adam". (1 Corinthians 15:45)

Have you any idea what it means, That Eve is the mother of all living, what does this mean according to scriptures. ( All Living )

It's plain to see, that you chose to follow the teachings of man's and not God's teachings.

God created male and female on the 6th day and then rested on the 7th day and then after the 7th day had pass, and then on the next day after the 7th day had pass.

God created Adam from the dust of the earth.
The 7th day stands as a separation between the first male and female 6th day and those on the next day after the 7th day had pass.

God created male and female on the 6th day and then 3 days later God created Adam and Eve.

Adam and Eve is the blood line unto which Christ Jesus was to come thru.because of Adam's sin. Sin pass upon all mankind.

I've got a different interpretation. Ever notice how the descendants of Cain became city dwellers who developed the Arts and technology? What good would it do to kill the innovators who develop stuff to make your own work less toiling?

Sleeppy

Fatalist. Christian. Pacifist.
Cain's mark refers to his command of seven other associates; the beginnings of an army. Lamech with 77, for reference.

Still applicable. Most of our cities are currently capitalist devices. The spirit of Cain, according to Daniel, is perpetually effective in shame and contempt.

If you are stuck on your own interpretation then what more can be said. I have shown you from the Bible that the 7th day has not yet concluded.

"7 For this reason, just as the holy spirit says: “Today if you people listen to his own voice, 8 do not harden your hearts as on the occasion of causing bitter anger, as in the day of making the test in the wilderness, 9 in which your forefathers made a test of me with a trial, and yet they had seen my works for forty years. 10 For this reason I became disgusted with this generation and said, ‘They always go astray in their hearts, and they themselves have not come to know my ways.’ 11 So I swore in my anger, ‘They shall not enter into my rest.’” (Hebrews 3:7-11)

"16 For who were they that heard and yet provoked to bitter anger? Did not, in fact, all do so who went out of Egypt under Moses? 17 Moreover, with whom did [God] become disgusted for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness? 18 But to whom did he swear that they should not enter into his rest except to those who acted disobediently? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of lack of faith."

The 7th day has not yet ended. We have yet to hear God's declaration of satisfaction with his accomplishments regarding the events that had to take place in this period of testing.

The 7th day has not yet ended. We have yet to hear God's declaration of satisfaction with his accomplishments regarding the events that had to take place in this period of testing.

In that of Hebrews 3 even though Israel were in the keeping the seventh day sabbath, They still did not enter God's rest.

Verse 10--"Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway error in their heart: and they have not known my ways"

Even though Israel kept the 7th day sabbath, Israel still didn't know God's ways.

Verse 11--"So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter my rest"

Even though Israel kept the 7th day sabbath in the wilderness for 40 years, Israel still didn't enter God's rest.

Hebrews 4:1--"Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his ( God's ) rest, any of you should seem to come short of it"

Just because people keep the 7th day sabbath, it does not mean that they are entering God's rest.

Hebrews 4:5--"And in this place again, If they shall enter my rest" Note here God said if they shall enter my rest, God said nothing about the 7th day sabbath. But to enter his rest.

Hebrews 4:8--"For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not Afterward have spoken of another day"

Jesus never spoken of another day, Why?
Because on this side of the cross of Christ Jesus we now rest in Jesus and not on any day.

Just because people keep the 7th day sabbath, does mean they are entering God's rest.

Though Israel was in the wilderness for 40 years, they kept the 7th day sabbath, but still God said they will not enter his rest.

Matthew 11:28--"Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest"

Notice Jesus never said he will give you sabbath rest, but to come to him and he will give you rest.
We rest in Christ Jesus and not on any day no more.

The Sabbath day was for Israel to lead them to Christ Jesus, that now Christ Jesus has come and died on the cross.
We now rest in Christ Jesus.

1 Corinthians 5:7--"Purge out therefore the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened, for even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us"

Notice Christ is our passover. The passover is the high Sabbath.

Therefore Christ being the passover and the high sabbath, We rest in Christ Jesus our high sabbath. And not on any day.

Since the daughters are not named in the Bible, (only the sons) it is apparent that Cain took one of his sisters as a wife. This was not an uncommon practice in patriarchal times before the Law was given. Sarah was Abraham's half sister.
Egyptian connection?

Egyptian connection?

Ishmael was the Egyptian connection. Ishmael's mother was Sarah's Egyptian hand maiden through an accepted form of surrogacy at the time.

Islam came from Ishmael....the Jews descended from Isaac. Same father, Abraham.....different mothers.

The promised seed was to come through the family line of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel. His 12 sons created the 12 tribes of Israel.

Cain’s wife came from the Assyrian Empire in Eden. Genesis 2:14, Ezekiel 31:3. Lots of people and other “things” where there. Read Ezekiel.

He was marked incase he returned. Others would know he was cursed.

That makes no sense at all, seeing the Assyrian Empire was not even around at the time of Adam and Eve.

Maybe you give at the time of Adam and Eve where this is stated.

Maybe you should read Genesis 2:14 and Ezekiel 31: (3-18). Notice a description is given Genesis 2:14 that the river Hiddekel is going east towards a place called Assyria. So should we assume Assyria is not Assyria. I’m confused.

In Ezekiel 31:3 we see another description of Eden that mentions Assyria. Granted, there is some symbolism in these passages but it still gives us many clue about Eden. We see nations, people, and other beings.

The word "father" means "life-giver"
In what language?

I found this:
Old English fæder "he who begets a child, nearest male ancestor;" also "any lineal male ancestor; the Supreme Being," and by late Old English, "one who exercises parental care over another," from Proto-Germanic *fader (source also of Old Saxon fadar, Old Frisian feder, Dutch vader, Old Norse faðir, Old High German fatar, German vater; in Gothic usually expressed by atta), from PIE *pəter- "father" (source also of Sanskrit pitar-, Greek pater, Latin pater, Old Persian pita, Old Irish athir "father"), presumably from baby-speak sound "pa." The ending formerly was regarded as an agent-noun affix.

No. You tried to say that G-d is called father because Father means "life giver" [and G-d gives life]. Since you're now saying that father doesn't mean life-generator but is someone who generates life you don't have a reason for calling G-d "Father" more than "Mother".
