What Is The Secret Of Life?

From since the beginning of time, man has desired to understand and comprehend the attributes of his position and place in the universe. He must first question, "What is this system known as life?" Before he understands his place in this life. He must first understand what is the composition of the unseen particles of life to understand what is the purpose of his composition in life's blueprint. After all, isn't he a part of the script? And what is DNA? Who designed this fundamental property of life? Can such a complex pattern just spontaneously come about? Where did the ability to contain information come from? What is information and why was it designed in a way that it should be contained? Who was the first being, to have his/her divine information contained? What is this secret, this property that binds life together? This equation that Mr. Einstein desperately searched for, to unify and encapsulate all light and matter? That Hawking has dedicated his existence too? What is everything? And if we were to ever discover this secret, is it something that can be described by natural laws? Is it a natural characteristic? Have we ever considered that what we think is irrelevant to our scientific and religious debates is actually relevant, and that which is seen is simply a gateway into what is not seen? I say, the universe was built on an attribute and that attribute was Love. But Love had a structure; Love had a genetic design. Love was a life; a consciousness and Love had a secret; a plan. Love had the blueprint of existence and the pathway of expression of his own nature, in the form of all life. And Love's secret was to redeem life and expose his very own characteristics, and dwell manifested upon his kingdom with his entire manifested plan; his concept and idea coming to a completion. And the secret of life is to find our place in this great plan, and execute our vocation to the end and the death. And that, is the mind of God. To me, that is the secret of life, what do you think is the secret of life?

The number 42 as it is the ultimate answer to all of life's questions.

So when anyone asks you a question, you answer them, "42" and you can be certain of your correctness.

That's my secret to living a successful life.

The secret of life:

Having questions does not mean the universe owes you any answers. If you can wear the badge "I don't know" on your lapel, you will always have your intellectual honesty to confort your existential angst.

That is the meaning of life.

Probably is no "secret" to life. Could very well be that asking a question like "What is the meaning of life?" is equivalent to the question "What does purple smell like?"

This is a conclusion some draw from a quote from 1John 4:8. I think John is repeating in his own words the lesson of the greatest commandment which is to love your neighbor. Paul calls love the most excellent way (1Corinthians 12:31). The idea of love being the reason for our existence is cool. Its one of the most interesting things about being a human and being alive, and its one of the beautiful things that other objects and creatures cannot match. I do not think love is the entire reason for the physical universe, however it is one of the supreme and surprising things.

Ideas about creation in religious Jewish circles are not focused on the physical universe in my opinion. They recognize that reality could be ephemeral, so there is the idea present that the physical universe could be no more real than words on a page. This is not without merit, and it does influence heavily the Christian sensation. In Christ you become more real, and everything not done in Christ is destroyed as if by fire. Your life in Christ is a creation process in which you are being created, and this also called 'Sanctification'. The creation of you is a work of love, because as you love more you become more real. The fictional part of you which is worldly is dying, that is the shell. Christ in you is the seed which is making you alive in a new way.

Nice......I understand why you would say that ideas about creation in religious Jewish circles are not focused on the physical universe, but I believe that everything that can be touched, everything that exists, both seen and unseen, is of equal importance. To me, it is not about having a focus on physical or spiritual, but understanding the concept of the different worlds and phases alike. The great apostle once said, "For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:" The natural things of the world; is actually a gateway into the things that are not seen, even, his eternal power and Godhead. If there had not been a seed, how would we make a statement like, "Christ in you is the seed" How that great poet David exclaimed, "The heavens declare the glory of God!" He understood life's purpose. He didn't look to the cosmos and see balls of burning fire, he saw the Creator in his splendor. He saw a way of understanding the Godhead. And then through this channel, Paul unlocks a secret of life; "There are bodies terrestrial and celestial, and these, like the sun, moon and stars differ in glory. "

So this great purpose of life you are speaking of; this 'sanctification', as to which I agree, was made to be understood in a greater way by what is seen, and is actually imprinted by Deity within his creation. "The Lamb that was slain before the foundation of the world" The very thought; the concept of God was self sacrifice before he created a world, and that act of sacrifice, was a product of Love. So, therefore, creation's pivot was this thought of Love. Because everything a man does in this life is a product of his characteristics, which shapes his thought-patterns. So therefore we see the furthest we can trace God back to is Love. Ephesians 3:18 - "That we may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;"

The secret of life is to use more paragraphs to make my posts easier to read by everyone... ;)

Seriously, though, I don't ask the question. Why would I suppose life has a secret? Life/existence simply is. I don't think there's some "secret property" behind it all.
