They say that the god would never allow a believer in God to be misled.
That is why they trust the word which says "all scripture is inspired of God" as God's words.
That means that nobody can alter the meaning of any of the words in it according to them.
They live by the words trusting in God to use those words to lead them.

If all that is true, then God allowing Adam to sin has no meaning.

I am not going to talk about Genesis being a historical account.
I would talk about my belief that it has real meaning.

Why would God allow the first worshipper of God to be misled but then actively prevent
any other sincere believer in God to be misled?
We are the source of the scripture.

This has nothing to do with if you can be tempted and deceived. You'd rather answer if you are infallible why do you need Jesus at all!

Those things in the book of Mark 13:11-12, has everything to do with being deceived or not. If you do not know them, then how will you know if your being deceived or not.

You mean to say that you cannot be deceived to sin. My question is can you be deceived to sin or not!

Christians can be deceived to sin. God however allows them to repent. They can be deceived it by no means says that the Bible is wrong. It only means that your interpretation of any Bible verses supporting your view is wrong!

You claimed to be the elect, so I ask you to prove it.to explain what does
Mark 13:11-12 means and you have yet to explain to prove what you say. That your of the elect.
Your called by the word God to prove what you say, as it is written in the book of
1 Thess 5:21-"Prove all things"
Therefore you are called by God's word to prove yourself.

Isn't that what this thread is about, you getting people to believe "your way, which is God's way"?

Aren't you saying that YOU are the only one that is not being misled, because YOU believe the Bible has error and not the true word of God, and that Jesus told YOU the true meaning?

1 Corinthians 12:28 (ESV Strong's) 28 And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues.

Ephesians 4:11-12 (ESV Strong's) 11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,

God appointed "humans" as teachers and evangelists and shepherds, should we not trust ANY human? I think that would go against "God's will be done"!

djhwoodwerks,
Please allow me to interject a thought.
God, Himself, has promised to protect His word, from all generations, Psalms 12:6,7. God does not make sure that every and every translation is completely inerrant, but He makes sure that you can easily find the truth of His word by comparing different translations. If one translation has an error, other translations will not have the same error, so search in several translations, and you are certain ti find God’s message. It is good to compare translations about any truth, because, even though each might be accurate, one may be easier for you to understand God’s message, by the way it is worded.
The reason that God had His word written down, is because men can make mistakes in memory. The Bible tells us not to put our trust in men, in whom no salvation belongs, Psalms 146:3,4, Jeremiah 17:5. The Bible tells us to put our trust in Him, and He will make our paths straight, right, Proverbs 3:5,6. We must search for truth just as we might search for treasure, as silver or Gold. We usually have to search hard to find treasure, the same for the truth of God’s message to man, Proverbs 2:1-9.
Today, almost all Bibles are accurate, but there will be some mistakes in all of them, because no man is able to translate a Bible with making a mistake, but remember, by comparing translations the truth can be found.

Would you ever consider Psalms 12:7 might mean that God's words will guard YOU and not that God will guard the words?

That God would guard words and not a person's faith in those words is RIDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't believe that is true. I am a sincere believer and I have been misled but then God rescued me and set me straight.

I believe the only explanation for that is that the misleaders are God's creatures also and God gives them a modicum of freedom.

BTW: God did not mislead Adam but told him the truth.

How does what you are saying apply to the thread subject?

People do believe that God would never allow the words to mislead.

They say God has protected the meaning of every word which was written to believe in it.

I believe it is not the words that mislead. When God said the words don't eat of the tree of knowledge or you will die there is nothing misleading in those words but when the serpent said to Eve she would not die it was a lie.

I believe it was the serpent's purpose in the beginning to bring into question God's word:
1 ¶ Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of any tree of the garden?

First Note that you said ----"They say that God would never allow a believer to be misled"

If I may ask, Who exactly are ( They ) that say that God would never allow a believer to be misled" Who are ( They ) that say this

Why am I asking this, because there is no where that God doesn't allow a believer to be misled"

Look If a believer chooses to go to church and set there listening to what a man will teach and not fully study the word of God, to know whether or not to what their being taught lines up with what God will say in his word.

Therefore if a believer chooses to listen to man's teachings and believe's what man's teachings will say, Then God shall send them strong delusion to believe a lie.

Take for instance the rapture theory, which is nothing more than man's teachings.
Now if those believers chooses to listen and believe this lie, Then God shall send them strong delusion to believe that lie.

Take note that the believers will say, that God is going to come and Rapture them out, Then why does God disproves the believers Rapture Theory to be False in the book of Ezekiel 13:20?

Ezekiel 13:20--"Wherefore thus saith the
Lord God, Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith you there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that you hunt to make them fly"

Therefore God is against those who hunt souls to make them fly.
In other words deceive people to make them think they will fly ( Raptured ) away to save their souls.

This is just one of many teachings of man's, Therefore if people ( believers ) chooses to believe a lie, Then God shall send them strong delusion to believe that lie.

The Jehovah's Witnesses say that a person who believes in God, Christ, and the Christian Congregation will be safe.

They do not believe in the teachings of men. They believe in the Bible, but what they won't believe is that the Bible they believe in is one which was and is explained by men.
They believe in the men who tell them what the "Bible really teaches" so to them to believe in the men is the same as believing in God. They use the illustration of the sheep and the goats to prove it. They say that to put your trust in the explanations which come from the governing body of Jehovah's Witnesses and to live your life like the Bible says to (according to those men) means that you will be saved because it is written that those doing good to the least of Jesus' brother do goo good to him and will get everlasting life. No doubt. They trust that God would not allow the Jehovah's Witnesses, the governing body, and anyone who believes them to be misled.

I believe in Matthew 25:31-46. I have tried to tell them that verse 46 does not mean that they get everlasting life. It means that they are going on the right way to everlasting life.

Matthew 25:46 can be compared to going through the narrow gate. On the other side is not a fulfillment of Gods' promise to Abraham. The road is there. Isaiah 35:8 Matthew 7:14

@Faithofchristian You might believe it too.
Do you trust that as long as you are professing to believe in Jesus Christ that you will not be misled?
Maybe I should define what I think misled means.
I want to come out of this christ-like. Do you? Maybe you do not think about these much and apply them to yourself.

1 Corinthians 3:13
their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person's work

Matthew 16:27
For the Son of Man will come in His Father's glory with His angels, and then He will repay each one according to what he has done

Matthew 7:19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire

Matthew 7:23-27 Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!' Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.

I do believe that God can never stop leading. I have seen that most people have stopped following.
The reason? According to my calculations, it is only alright to believe in true stuff.

To believe or not to believe is always a personal decision. It is my opinion that God does not and will not make a person believe. I know you believe in the Christ. It is my opinion that believing in him has to come with believing what he says is true and rejecting what he has not said is true.

Thinking something is true does not mean it is true. There is no one on the way (Isaiah 35:8) who is clinging to anything false. Let the wind blow it away. Matthew 3:12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire. 1 Corinthians 3:13

If you decide to keep the chaff within you you must be prepared for the burning of it. It is going to get hot (if it hasn't already).

First of all, JW have Rewritten the bible According to what they want it to say.

Therefore you will not get them to see their own falsehoods.

Yes, you too though. You do not put faith in their rewritten Bible, but do you put faith in THE rewritten Bible? Or do you believe God would not let that happen?

Might the Bible has been rewritten to say what men thought it should say OR are you like the Jehovah's Witnesses who believe in a god which would/can not allow it?

Can a person who knows, believes, trust, and follows their idea of Holy Scripture possibly be misleading his self or her self?

Many people say, "No! as long as I keep on doing that I can't be misled if I am doing it".
In other words, the Bible won't mislead anyone. I think you believe that @Faithofchristian. Do you?
