Most generations seem to feel Jesus will return before they die. By expressing that hope and by owning that hope I feel most of (Christians) including this one may be subconsciously exposing fear of their own mortality, and by proxy their lack of faith, even if minuscule, of Gods existence. That may be a wake up call from the gatekeeper of the world of dreams, our sleep world work shop that our faith needs some work my friends. Freud would have a wunderful' time taking apart our conscious hope we will see Jesus return in our lifetime, as well as the subconscious abyss it was dredged up from. Hmm, maybe Jung not Freud would be a better choice for those type anxieties and desires? In any case I believe Jesus was correct when he said not even he, the son of God, not even the angels of heaven, know the day and the hour of the Messiahs return. Only the Father (God) knows the exact 'time'.

Btw, that bit of scripture is very very profound, somewhat troublesome for traditional Christianity and much deeper than it seems on a quick first read, but that discussion is material for another thread, eh?
