Flat earth believers

I think that they believe satellites exist, just not in outer space, more locally in the atmosphere and grounded, and that if satellites existed in outer space, all local satellites from homes/businesses would be directed straight upwards.
I cannot understand their claims. I heard that they claim rockets do not reach outer space, but bounce off something. I don't get it. It is their problem.

There are some good videos of the recent solar eclipse and shadowing that would easily contradict a spherical earth, so it would seem. And videos from NASA itself explaining the solar eclipse with the Earth spinning the wrong way, to make it work. Or having to change speeds of the Earth/moon to make it work.
Can you give me a link. I would love to see something like that.

I do not think it necessary to prove anything. If views of the Earth from space don't convince a person, nothing will.
Anything like this will be said to be faked. It is not possible to win the argument. I hoped to do it through geometry and plain daily things observable to all at sunset, and sunrise if you are up early enough, but in my case, I failed.

Think about people in other time zones all see a sun set an hour later. They can't be faked unless West coast of US is really just getting extra sleep in the morning.

I don't get it either. But, what is it someone here says, Beer will save the world, he just doesn't know how. Maybe they should go drink a lot of beer to see stars, etc.

I know a guy who can make a good argument that all of the moon landings were faked. Good argument but I don't buy it.

We saw the shuttles go into space from the launch pad and tracked them with satellites so there is a 99.999% chance their pics of the Earth from space are real.

It comes down to letting others be what they want and be true to self. What is - is. What isn't - is not.

I think that NASA or any other space agency should offer to take a few legitimate, prominently known amongst mankind, adamant flat earth believers to see for themselves if the Earth is spherical or if the Earth is flat. I wonder why they never have, or at least invited them to their local domain of operations to view their equipment.

What? Me worry?

Ha! As a Flat Earther I know that rockets can't fly. It's a conspiracy enhanced by optical illusions. Nice try.

I'm a Fat Earther myself. I think the Earth is too fat. We all need to lose weight, otherwise Atlas won't be able to hold us on his shoulders for much longer.

There are not enough flat Earth voters to get Washington's attention, that's why not, short version.

Ha! I think another Flat Earther believer might say, rockets and/or ballistic missiles can fly just not into "orbit of space." They all are observable to curve shortly after their launch. Another might say they'd be satisfied after an invitation to their facilities to monitor.
