"I got out and I started taking pictures," McCluer told Fortune. "I thought, 'This is a good spot, nobody else is around, it wasn't crowded, there were only two or three other cars and some people golfing.'"
"The golfers and I were not actually in any danger," says McCluer. "When I was done taking pictures, I walked over to them and we talked about how crazy and surreal and horrifying this event is, but I didn't get their names or have any real interaction with them. It was just a few words exchanged."
Must be hard to get a tee time at this course, but once you do you keep it.

Is there a difference between playing on the golf course and playing at Religious Forum? I know there was love in all those witty responses but veiled.
that's probably because people empathised with the golfers more than I anticipated.
Though getting me out onto a golf course under ideal conditions would prove to be a stretch, I simply cannot imagine going to one with a wild fire nearby. What could possibly go wrong?
