A little confused by the title. Why do you pick out the Cherokee, from the examples given in the linked articles, and why focus on the seven clans?

because I'm a little more aware of the ceremonies of the cherokee and hopi than most other amerindians.

like the stomp dance with fire.

Revelation 4:5
From the throne came flashes of lightning, and rumblings and peals of thunder, and before the throne were burning seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God,

the fire at the center symbolizes something of immortality; like a god bringing fire to mankind, example prometheus, et al. the dionysian orgia was such a process.

jesus, shiva, cernunnos, king dave were all called the lord of the dance.

or like the shamanic, or other ethno-religious groups that use dance to catalyze the consciousness and allow a higher state of awareness to filter in.

elisha used music to prophecy by.

2 Kings 3:15
15 But now bring me a musician.” And when the musician played, the hand of the Lord came upon him.

interesting aside this site claims the dance travels counter-clockwise; which is much like the hajj at the ka'aba

would be like the inverse, or involution and moving inward vs evolving outward.

Yep.

"Cayce declared that the Piltdown man was genuine, claiming he was an Atlantean colonizer who had travelled to Britain[citation needed]. However, the Piltdown man was exposed as a hoax in 1953.[70]"

-from Wikipedia

Edgar Casey was not a scientist, and a charlatan.

It was academic scientists that determined the Piltdown man was a hoax. Over time the knowledge of Methodological Naturalism is self correcting, evolves, and improves weeding out hoaxes, bad research, and the limits of older research.

From the Christian point of view, anyone who claims to be a prophet of God is always 100% correct in their prophecies. This is Biblical. This is how we can tell false prophets from the real thing.

Edgar Cayce was no prophet. If he was communicating with a spirit it was most likely a demon.

Fair enough. That makes sense. Thanks for taking the time to respond.

This is a bit off topic, but I disagree and a thread on this would be interesting.

Most likely it is the Ego of self importance that motivates Edgar claims.

A thread on this in the Christian DIR would be interesting. I'm not keen on discussing anything from the Christian point of view with a non-Christian because you don't and can't express anything from that view.
