' has a soul ' or ' is a soul '.
same word, same definition for soul.

however humans and animals both have a spirit. once the spirit is encased in the form/body it's called a soul because it takes a form associated to that vehicle's function.

hebrew and greek both differentiate between a spirit and a soul.

greek spirit vs soul

No where at Genesis 2:7 does it say Adam had a soul or that Adam possessed a soul, rather Adam was a soul.

this is the same thing as genesis 1:2 when the breath of god moved upon the waters and earth was formed. it works the same way for everything in third density being formed from the earth, or mater(matter). mother earth, father sky. in the egyptian it's reversed as Nut the heavens and Geb the earth.

I find that hold true also for animals according to Numbers 31:28. Animals and humans are souls or living creation.
At Adam's death (all of Adam) simply ' returned ' to where Adam started ' the dust...' according to Genesis 3:19.
Adam went from non-life, to life, and returned back to non-life, or that Adam became a dead or lifeless soul.
Any thoughts about Ecclesiastes 3:19-20.
once the vehicle/form is released, the personality dissolves because it is no longer attached to a third density form. it returns to its previous state as a spirit; which is ruwach.

That says much about you. Your desire not to educate yourself is alarming

I feel that way because I am educated. I know your side of the argument and I reject it because it makes no sense whatsoever. A big bang poofed out of the blue; abiogenesis just happened at random. It would be easier for a watch to assemble itself in the desert than a living thing to poof out of non-living materials; if humans and apes both came from the same creature (the thought itself is so absurd, put pardon the interruption) then the apes and everything else got the short end of the stick big time.

This only shows that you don't understand any of the concepts here. Which contradicts your claim of being educated.

Thus showing your lack of education

How do you know what the bb did, top cosmologists don't know so it seems you admit guessing and make up bs to hide ignorance.

No , not at random, conditions, chemicals and time are not random, so more guesswork

And then you get into stupidity, comparing man made, mechanical objects with natural process. No further comment required

Humans are apes, your problem is what?

You mean in the same way Jews got the short end when Christians evolved? Again a silly comparison.

Fortunately, when I investigated these claims, I was able to find that history demonstrated fulfilled Bible prophecy. I was set.

You must have read a very distorted version of history, then. Either that, or you have way too generous an idea of what constitutes prophecy.

Prove that humans are apes. Guess what? You can't. And you know you can't. But you believe it, anyway. That's called faith. It takes more faith to believe the junk you believe than it does to believe in any religion.

I’m a primate. You’re a primate. Everyone reading this blog is a primate. That’s not news. We hear it all he time: Humans are primates. But what does that really mean? What do we have in common with a baboon? Or a creepy aye-aye? Or even our closest living relative, the chimpanzee?

These are simple questions to answer from a genetic perspective—humans share more DNA with lemurs, monkeys and apes than they do with other mammals.

That's all guessing games and child's play to show it isn't proof.

You don't have proof. You've got guessing games.

Can you provide any evidence that it is mere "guessing games" as opposed to your stubborn reluctance to understand science?

Good try, but you state it is true as if it is. If it is it is on you to prove it is. But you can't. So I am right to believe God because it isn't true at all.

Just because 2 things are similar it does not mean they came from the same thing. Everybody knows that, even little children.

You seriously should learn how to debate, it might actually help you to view the world in a different light than the one a fiction book called the bible sheds on it.

I provided the evidence, which you dismissed as "guessing games". Therefore, I asked you to provide evidence that it is mere "guessing games" which you ignore for word salad that makes you appear quite unintelligent. The burden of proof at this point is on you to provide the proper evidence that the article I provided is "guessing games", unless of course you are utterly incapable of doing that.

Oh, there are a great number of people that know more than I do. But I also know enough to smell BS. And religions in general reek of it.

Interesting opinion. About 16.5% of the adult population of Earth agrees with you while 83.5% are in opposition. Wow, you're so smart!

At one time, 95% of people thought the Earth to be flat.

The vast majority of people are rather uneducated. That has always been the case and it is likely to always be the case.

Truth isn't decided by consensus of the general populace.
