Is it a gross X 1000? or ONE as many? or being of one mind?

[ The Lamb and the 144,000 ] Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads. And I heard a voice from heaven like the roar of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder. The voice I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps, and they were singing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and before the elders. No one could learn that song except the 144,000 who had been redeemed from the earth. ...

Your dictionary is your friend.

But what kind of question is "Is it a gross X 1000?"? It's like asking "is a dozen blue?

In early Israel, 144,000 could not have been written that way, largely because the highest number symbolized through Hebrew or Aramaic words back then was 1000.

So, 144,000 was probably written this way: 12 12 1000, or to put it the way that we're more used to 12 X 12 X 1000, which may have meant symbolically "completion" upon "completion" in "great numbers" as that's what those numbers stood for in our tradition.

Huh?
Where does it state as of one mind? You seem to be reading into the verses.

i took the idea from three other inferences:

1 Corinthians 12:12-27
12 There is one body, but it has many parts. But all its many parts make up one body. It is the same with Christ. 13 We were all baptized by one Holy Spirit. And so we are formed into one body. It didn’t matter whether we were Jews or Gentiles, slaves or free people. We were all given the same Spirit to drink. 14 So the body is not made up of just one part. It has many parts.

Philippians 2:2
complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.

Revelation 17:17
for God has put it into their hearts to carry out his purpose by being of one mind and handing over their royal power to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled.

fyi, that is what baptism(immersion) in the name implies oneness because I AM that i am; which is inclusive of everything.

or as empedocles said, "God is a circle whose center is everywhere and whose circumference is nowhere.".

said another way, "Love is a circle whose center is everywhere and whose circumference is nowhere".

God who lives in everyone and we can communicate with him without a church. He says that each person is apart of the whole picture, but remains an individual. - Ralph Waldo Emerson
