I work at a clinic doing structural therapy for motor vehicle insurance. I also garden and do my artsy fartsy stuff. Hubby and I play all sorts of games (currently trying the Destiny 2 beta) and we play Dungeons and Dragons once a week or so.

Work too much, spend time with my lovely wife and 2 awesome daughters, play sports (tennis and basketball), watch sports (Aussie Rules, NBA and NCAA basketball, NFL), write fiction poorly, and occasionally play video games.

When you're not on RF, what are you usually doing? Anything fun? Do you inhabit any other forums?

No to other forums I spend to much time on this one. I live life when I not on the RF. I work 8 hrs a day 5 days a week. I have 2 kids that I need to cook for and take places. I garden. I own a house. This weekend, I made applesauce, juice and muffins from apples I picked in my back yard. I went fishing and hiking with the boys. We saw the off off broadway play of Little shop of Horrors. I mowed the lawn, made dinner both days and I still had time for the RF.

I like to read books, play video games, do lots of work for my degree programs, go to my internship on the weekends. That's pretty much my life outside of RF at the moment.

Oh, and I'm strongly considering starting a vlogging channel.

Reading, listening to music, playing video games, sleeping. I don't really have a life outside of this right now because I'm a unemployed mentally ill shut in with no social life. Just being honest.

A lot of times I'm working and tinkering with some sort of computer code. Other than work type stuff which usually has me on the computer, I am spending time with my wife and kids, listening to music, listening to books (I know that's cheating) and watching movies at home or at the theatre. Sometimes getting off work doesn't mean I get to play I find myself doing yardwork a lot of times. I have been to other forums in the past but not at all these days, just RF, lucky you all lol.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
You ever participate in NaNoWriMo? Writing isn't my forte but man that was a great challenge.
Sorry for not responding sooner, but that sounds interesting. It's the first time I've heard of it.

All my work remains unpublished right now. Partially due to my artistic temperament over my work. Never seems good enough yet. LOL.

Hmmm. Lesse... I work at fighting the weed encroachment on our 1 acre of rural land. I've also been downsizing the garden area this year and it's odd because that takes planning too. (Who knew?) Occasionally I listen to music, not too much though, as I make up music in my head and that keeps me amused. (I'm not a musician though, and seriously, you don't want to hear me sing.)

I don't read much anymore but when I do it is only non-fiction. Fiction no longer rings my bell, but perhaps it's because of following the last US election. Oh well. Likewise, I do a bit of writing, but do not write fiction, per se, though since I'm usually writing about states of consciousness some folks might beg to differ on the no fiction thingy. From there, I'm an avid cook, and have a wide array of signature dishes. Almost everything I cook is awesome. I love having conversations with people. (Remember those?) I can rattle on for hours in a good back and forth.

Then there is my multi-year fascination with Diablo III: Reaper of Souls. Play it at least an hour a day. And, of course, meditation. Can't write about states of consciousness without doing the research. :) Then there is my endless insane humor.... you folks really cannot imagine what I am like in person, LOL.

Check out their website sometime. If nothing else, they've got a bunch of good discussions on writing software and pep talks by writers from Patterson to Butcher. :)

You tried it? I haven't gone to that in years. What is it, write a book in a year? I can't even write a scene in a month, ha.
50k word first draft in a month. It's pretty intense, but doable. Lots of scheduling tools to help make your personal deadlines.

I see. I was looking at the site but they didn't update the month and date. I only wrote two scenes for the same novel but I'm trying to figure how to make them flow.
