The Judas Incident: Take Your Pick

I can back up my understanding with Scripture.
Tell me how that's being an idiot.
Tom

You don't understand scripture. If you did understand it you would understand that you stand condemned like John 3:18 says. You would repent and believe the Gospel if you really understood it.

You're being an idiot, not sure if you're doing it on purpose or not. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and just assume you're doing it on purpose in order to show your hatred for scripture. You and Skwim ought to start up a club, you'd have plenty of God haters on here to join up with you. You could have cookouts and have a grand ole time cursing the scriptures you hate so much while you munch down on yummy BBQ and drink beer.
Instead of becoming emotional and feeling persecuted, one has the option of answering the question.

Which in this case is, What's wrong with that?

Just a thought.

Oh, oh, David isn't going to like this one. He's already got himself backed into a corner with me and only has ad homs left in his quiver.
You did nail it Skwim.
See you in hell:rolleyes:

Nope. It says "With the money he received from the wrong he had done, he bought a piece of land"

.

You may have a different moral set than me, but stealing is "wrong". If I have money I stole years ago, I can do something now with what I'd formerly received from "the wrong I had done".

Of course, you are missing the obvious, the Pharisees are specifically described as (ironically, unknowingly) buying a prophesied piece of land with the 30 silver pieces where Judas chose to die.

It is astonishing how the Bible explains that we may exercise our free will yet not thwart God's free will plans!

The Greek word translated purchase in Mathew means to purchase {go to Market}

The Greek word in Acts means to acquire by any means

When someone blows one's argument away with a fact, as Skwim just did to yours, isn't one supposed to thank him, learn from the error and move on?

I don't see what stealing, Pharisees, or free will have to do with that.

Sorry, I thought Skwim was asking a question, rather than stating a fact, especially since you just said in a prior post the Bible is not subject to falsifiability tests. Be consistent. :)

MATTHEW 15:21 Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
MATTHEW 15:22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, [thou] Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
ACTS 12:20 And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king's chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king's [country].
ACTS 12:22 And the people gave a shout, [saying, It is] the voice of a god, and not of a man.
ACTS 12:23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

(The theme that unites God's Behavior with Judas in the New Testament is the "Deadly Head Wound", and this unites God's Mercies in the New Testament, so the language is connected to Star Wormwood....................God used "Tyre and Sidon" as a picture of Canaan to illustrate his mercies, because he didn't have any interests in the deserts (around egypt)............this location was just outside of Jerusalem or so) (furthermore, circumcision was taught in the New Testament, so God immediately rebuked the taking of wives to solicit his mercies, emphasis on the transition to the "Deadly Head Wound") (God's Law)

(33 Degrees of Pleiades/Orion/Sirius (Pleiades in Taurus breaks off the Ecliptic) for 33 Days of Leo to Virgo (Leo breaks off the ecliptic)

1. 30 for Jesus and Joseph in Luke 3:23
2. Three Days and Nights in the Earth, Matthew 12:40

1. 30 Shekels of Judas
2. Three Times for the Dinosaur that rebuked Peter, Matthew 26:34

A Measurement of Jesus, is Heavenly. The Gospel parallels these figures of heavenly and earthly, so we see both 33 for Heavenly and then 33 for Earthly. God is describing his mercies. Translated to today at the 70th Anniversary of Roswell, we see, 8/21 to 9/23, and then the Last Seven Years of Revelation. (Job 9:9).

(I'll be around today, this is your chance to use lethal force against me (North Korea), to divide satan's attention into itself, and to tie the hands of aaron. You have to choose pain from God or pain from man..................so I'm going to wrap up this discussion, with no, legal evidence that Judas committed a crime against God, no, none at all) (City Hall Philadelphia, in a hour or so)
