Meaning ?

Those who have eyes to see shall see.
Those who have ears to hear, shall hear.

What the Spirit is saying.

Those who have eyes to see shall not see.
Those who have ears to hear, shall not hear.

What the Spirit is saying.

Meaning?

They say that the god would never allow a believer in God to be misled.
That is why they trust the word which says "all scripture is inspired of God" as God's words.
That means that nobody can alter the meaning of any of the words in it according to them.
They live by the words trusting in God to use those words to lead them.

If all that is true, then God allowing Adam to sin has no meaning.

I am not going to talk about Genesis being a historical account.
I would talk about my belief that it has real meaning.

Why would God allow the first worshipper of God to be misled but then actively prevent
any other sincere believer in God to be misled?

If I may say, alot of Christians to day are being mislead and they don't even know it, Why, because they don't have a clue what the bible Actually does say, Christians listen more to what their pastor's tell them, Then they do what God will say in his word.

Christ Jesus called this, blind leaders of the blind. That both shall fall into the ditch.

People say it all the time. They teach that if you believe their way, which is God's way, you won't be misled but only if you stick to their way. I am amazed beyond belief that you do not know that.

Isn't that what this thread is about, you getting people to believe "your way, which is God's way"?

Aren't you saying that YOU are the only one that is not being misled, because YOU believe the Bible has error and not the true word of God, and that Jesus told YOU the true meaning?

Also, that you are OK with the changed version, which was changed by a human, is you trusting in humans.

1 Corinthians 12:28 (ESV Strong's) 28 And God has appointed in the church first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, helping, administrating, and various kinds of tongues.

Ephesians 4:11-12 (ESV Strong's) 11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ,

God appointed "humans" as teachers and evangelists and shepherds, should we not trust ANY human? I think that would go against "God's will be done"!

That needs a definitive conclusion of whether the one who is referenced there means Almighty God.

I think that would go against "God's will be done"!
Then, I must be 'old school'. Psalms 146:3

I am telling you all djhwoodwerks to RETHINK! But you all are saying, "we're good with the thinking that has been done for us".

"RETHINK" what, the way YOU see the Bible?

He does, thru teachers, His word and the Holy Spirit.

I look at preachers and teachers this way, a teacher or preacher is like the "National" Weather Service, they give the general weather for the whole United States, if I want to know the specific weather for my area, I go to my locale news station. Same way with a teacher of God's word, they teach the general principles of the Bible, but to get what is specific for me, I go to the Bible and God in prayer and the Holy Spirit shows me how that applies to me specifically. People are different, we may have some of the same issues, but How God wants me to deal with it may be different than He wants you to deal with it. What He wants me to do, may be different than what He wants you to do. A teacher can't teach that. They put the principles out there, we go to God and He shows us thru the Holy Spirit.

Of course not! That is not even possible. I wonder why some people won't grow up.

OK. Thank you. I believe the true words of what was written to the holy ones is what evangelizes. Since some of the words were changed to reflect human understanding, then there aren't any real shepherds left.

Teachers of God's Word are teachers of God's Word ONLY if they can not lie about what was heard. What was heard? Yes, what the Holy Ones heard and was written. If it is wrong, (it is wrong, but not all wrong), it isn't The Word. I should think that is obvious. So, to me, teachers and the word are the same.

James 3:My brethren, be not many masters
( teachers ) , knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation
( Stricter Judgment)

What would be the ( Meaning ) for teachers, pastors, to receive the stricter Judgment?

Because if they are found in adding implementing their words into God's word. Which would lead People astray from the true word of God.

Therefore when people goes to a church and whatever is told to them by a teacher or pastor of the church, then they take it as truth, not knowing that God's word says no such a thing. People will take whatever is told them and run with it.

Then they say, I have the truth or our church has the truth. But all they have and the church is what their teachers or pastor have told them and not what God's word Actually does say.

Let's take the Rapture for instance, upon really reading and looking at God's word.
There is no such a thing as a Rapture,
so what you have is teachers, pastors implementing their words it into God's word.

Therefore comes alive James 3:1 That teachers, pastors shall receive the stricter judgment. For the misleading people.

Here's another question, Let's for say the Rapture is true, But why would God condone it in one place in his word, but then in another place condemn it?

Because God never spoke about no rapture nor condone a Rapture.
Meaning?
Teachers, Pastors shall receive the stricter judgment. For implementing their words in the place of God's words. Which in turn is misleading people.

So we are on the same page, are you implying that all teachers or pastors lead people astray?

That's why I said, I take what my teachers say to the word and God in prayer, to get what it means for me. He will show me the truth and how it applies to my life.

Here's another question, Let's for say the Rapture is true, But why would God condone it in one place in his word, but then in another place condemn it?

1 Thessalonians 3:13 (ESV Strong's) 13 so that he may establish your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all his saints.

Where does God condemn the rapture?

let's you're a candidate for the keys to the kingdom....
and entrusted to such authority and responsibility.....
you should be of high level judgment call

and with billions of souls passing by under the nod of your head........
you need to be very sharp in your sense of judgement

How do you develop such ability?

live this life
learn what it is to fail
and then learn mercy

and maybe......

I have considered that there are mistakes in the Bible. I found one. You have not considered that there are mistakes. I am asking whoever will to please consider that human opinion was added and to then search for true meaning. When you ask The Holy Spirit for true meaning but God knows all and if you will be stumbled from The Word, God will not reveal to you the true meaning. The reason? No stumbling comes from God. Do you believe that?

Correct, but every witness goes door to door, spreading what they believe to be the Gospel. I just used them as an example.
There is no one righteous, no, not one. But, look what else is written. Matthew 5:48.
They who believe what it says to teach it according to their own understanding seem to me to be wasting their time.

No, no I'm not. Were you?
God knows and I am not God. So, the answer is, I don't know.

I'm sorry, but that doesn't make any sense to me at all.
Don't call me surprised. :)
