How do members of other religions explain Christian faith healing?

Mister Silver

Faith's Nightmare
If faith healing was real, then doctors and hospitals would be out of business. Faith healing is nothing more than a con, quite an elaborate one at that.

Wrong. "The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few." (Matthew 9:37)

By the logic, if charity organizations were real, there would be no more homeless people and no more starving people in the world.

Quoting the bible is not evidence of anything. Sorry to burst your bubble.

As usual, theists attempting to understand logic utterly fails.

By any logic in this world, if the utterly rich, including religious leaders, would not hoard money as though it can be taken to the afterlife in which they believe, then perhaps poor people would have a chance at socio-economic equality.

You never asked for any evidence. You claimed that the existence of faith healing invalidates the possibility of hospitals staying in business. I was addressing that point by offering a direct explanation for why hospitals still exist despite God wanting to heal people through faith healers. There are not enough righteous people who are doing God's Will in order to obtain the healing gift from the Holy Spirit for both themselves and for others.

Right... That's exactly what Jesus recommended... But then atheist and agnostic billionaires came along and thought that saving the money in banks was a better idea... How many religious leaders in Forbes top 500 do you know?

I agree that the hospital argument was a poor argument; nonethtless, you have still failed to provide convincing evidence in ... well, anything ... the accuracy of scriptures, the existence of a deity, the desire of that deity to perform faith healing, the existence of the holy spirit, an example of a true miraculous/faith healing, the existence of the gifts to be obtained from the unproven deity/spirit ... the list goes on ...

And perhaps you should research the history of banking; which has nothing to do with atheists ....
