For believers - do you believe that angels still appear to people?

I've always enjoyed artwork depicting angels, but even as a practicing theist, I never really ''believed'' in their actual existence. But, the Bible discusses the appearance of angels many times over, and I just wonder what some of you think about that? Do you believe in angels, and if so, do you believe that they appear to people?

And Christianity also teaches about ''fallen angels,'' and I'd imagine other faiths do, as well. These are angels ''inspired'' by evil, as I've come to learn.

Do angels appear to people today?

Anyways, just wondering what you think, if you're a believer?

I read that yea, but...how would you really know, though? Like could you really know that, David?

Do you experience your faith? When I was following Christianity, I felt like it was an experience, not just memorizing Scripture and trying to be obedient to an ancient text.

Oh, I'm not professing any degree of piety. And no, according to the verse we wouldn't know, which is why we are warned to be hospitable to strangers.

As far as an angel appearing to people as an angel I have never seen one and I don't know anybody who has. So I imagine it is very rare if it happens.

Maybe the angel just appears as a regular person. I'm just guessing. lol

I imagine it'd be a dream come true for many a woman, and for not a few men...

EDIT: To answer the OP, I believe that angels and messengers of deities do exist. I haven't ever seen any, myself. It could be that some people have that gift, and I'm just not one of them.

Ehhhhhhhh, kinda depends on how you interpret the story of the Nephilim. Some platonic cuddling would be a nice compromise, I'd imagine.

Well, there is also the assumption by some that those angels fell from grace as a result and became demons. I am not sure as the text isn't clear as to who the sons of God was referring to.

A messenger. Yes, that's what I think I'm referring to more so than angels.

And if angels do exist, I don't think they have actual wings and look hot. I mean, they could...but, I think that's all part of the angel 'lore.

I think messengers from God do exist. I just hope I was nice to one if I ever encountered him/her.

I'll go with a 'Yes' answer. When it fills a need or reason, I think they do. I believe there is a wide myriad of such beings in the universe that can be colloquially called 'angels'.

My grandmother claimed such an experience.
