The creatures of Earth are amazing. In so many cases they are, indeed, very closely perfected for survival in their specific environs.

Not even close. 99.9 percent of all species that have lived on Earth are now extinct, and for the ones that are still around, most of them struggle with life until they die.

This doesn't, at all, mean that there aren't many who are perfected for their living spaces. And, in fact, evolutionary principle dictates that this be the culmination sought after by the evolution/adaption process. There are thousands of creatures whose body and behavior is very specifically tailored to the place and way in which they live. "Fishing" spiders, aquatic insects, color changing cephalopods, parasites that afflict only one particular species, creatures who didn't need sight because they live with no light but developed echolocation, creatures who mimic some part of their surroundings so well that you basically have to catch them moving in order to spot them.

And so what that many species have come and gone? Times change, places change... and so the animals' lineages themselves have to change. At any given "moment" there will be those adapted well to survive where they're at, those that aren't, and those that are working on it. I merely pointed out that there are many who are. Still care to deny it?

It does nothing of the sort. There is no such "evolutionary principle" nor does evolution "dedicate" or "sought" after things. That is a horrible understanding of evolution.

Nothing is "perfected" for their "living spaces". That is nothing but a naive idealistic notion. They get wounded, the get ill and they die. Some are better able in certain environments but nothing is perfect.

I know there is no conscious entity "seeking after" the best-fit traits an organism may require to mete out an easier existence. And I know there is no "selecting hand" that picks the traits. Those are basically metaphors to the processes at work - at the end of which the organism's lineage becomes more fit to both survive and serve in its environment. And they do, very much, attain greater perfection in that vein as the process drones on. And by "perfection" I really only mean that a form of stability has been attained - that the organism is what it needs to be in order to survive, procreate and maintain numbers in the niche in which it operates. Maybe I should change to use the word "honed" instead of "perfected" - would that make you happier? And I'm not quite sure you have really proved me "wrong" in citing that circumstantial, individual issues like "being wounded" or "getting ill" are evidence of the contrary.

I don't need your help understanding anything. Thanks for the thought though. In the future I'll be sure to watch my wording a bit more carefully so as to avoid being "stopped by the police" again.

I can't remember who said it but seems true that men lead lives of quiet desperation.
King Solomon wrote at Ecclesiastes 12 to think about or remember God in one's youth before the calamitous days ( old age) comes when we can't find pleasure in them, and end up in that ' long house ' ( see Ecclesiastes 12:5 B; Job 17:13; Job 30:23 ).

Yep...these little guys just willed themselves to become exact replicas of autumn leaves....all different colors.
Your fantasy is way more 'creative' than those of us who believe in Intelligent Design.

That was one extremely lucky mutation! It MUST have happened, if that's what one's theory demands!

I find nothing is ' perfect ' (relative sense) since Adam's downfall in the paradisical Garden of Eden.
Only human kind is offered ' everlasting life on Earth '. ( Just as there was No death for Adam and Eve at first )
Humans are best in a clean earthly environment.
Mankind's history has proven beyond doubt that man can Not successfully govern his steps.
That is why mankind needs Jesus to step in, and according to Scripture Jesus, as Prince of Peace, will step in and bring global Peace on Earth among persons of goodwill. That is why we are all invited to pray the prayer of Revelation 22:20 for Jesus to come. Come and usher in Peace on Earth.
