Death and Evolution

The nervous system evolved in life basically to keep life alive.

If nothing died the Earth would be overpopulated and use up all its resources, which is happening now and our use of the resources.

Is becoming old and die was good for the species?
Death is good for earth and for more species to come which is a sign that someone
has planned for it, living for some years and giving birth for new comers.

What do you think? was it just a coincidence or a programmed death mechanism?
Hi.

It's probably not coincidence or design. It's just the way the world is. Things become damaged over time. That includes living things. The damage adds up and things break while living things die.

But our ancestors lived for millions of years, would you please explain as when and why
our ancestors went extinct?
Who lived for millions of years?

And you are jumping topics. Have I answered your question of evolution of fish to amphibians? Do you understand the answer?

We're better than chimps, but they're still existing.

Chimps are better adapted at their niche than us. You do not seen to have attained much of a grasp of the basics of evolution.

Just happened to be so, IOW coincidence.
I am certain that we pointed you towards the idea of selective pressure at least a dozen times. Do you know about it?

It means he doesn't understand evolution.
It's "How could we evolve from monkeys if there are still monkeys"?

It's a religious thing.

Ok, I see.

@FearGod
Species can diverge through isolation or even manipulation.

Dogs from wolves and then there are many breeds of dogs.

We're not better than chimps. We're a different species, or subspecies if you prefer. That doesn't make us better, it just means our environment was different to chimps.
A lion is not a better species than a zebra. It might eat an unfortunate zebra, but both are suited the best to their respective environments.

How we aren't better?
Is it OK for you if you were a chimp than a human?
or a dog, a cat ...etc

No, just happens as it happens. It is what it is. An observable phenomenon. It's like saying gravity is a coincidence. Like, just, no.

Gravity has a purpose and death has a purpose, so you think that it just
happened to be the case, like saying why we have mobiles then your
answer will be, it just happened that we have it.

So death was made for a purpose.

Wars, torture for fun, killing our own species due to ignorance and trivial petty matters. We're selfish, pathetic arrogant creatures who kill everything and everyone we come into contact with. Without remorse. At least a lion is killing to eat. We kill for sport, for fun, religion, hate/fear and even because of mental imbalance among other reasons.
We're not some pinnacle of evolution or design or whatever you ascribe to. I mean, we have achieved great things no doubt. But to ignore our darker aspects as a species (ahem the Holocaust for example) is to be naive to the point of wilful ignorance.

If I were a cat or dog, I wouldn't know any different. So I doubt I'd give a toss.

Gravity is an observed phenomenon. I'll leave it to those more qualified to divulge in how it came about, if they feel like doing so. But it just is. It doesn't mean anything more than, it exists.
Also, we created mobile phones and the satellite technology they're based on. They exist because we created them. A phone is not an observable phenomenon, it's an invention. And a non vital luxury at that. You know why they exist? Humans got bored one day.

If it was "Planned" it was bad planning.

Why are we the only human species still alive?

"Once Earth was home to a host of human species, from Neanderthals to hobbits. But today only we survive"

Why are we the only human species still alive?

That actually agree with my point, some homo species were living still
before extinction and the reason they went extinct is the lack of food,
so if in a case that food was still available then we'll have more than one homo species, IOW death has nothing to do with evolution, I think it should be very clear to you and for the others.

We're better in many ways and the bad deeds is our fault.

But if you can choose, will you prefer being other animal than human?

Don't you think we look like an invention, the way our hearts work, our lungs,
our brains ....etc, or it just happened that we look like an invention.

This conclusion is even sillier than your assertion that change = planning.
How do you come to these conclusions?

My point is about death, if it's silly then explain how death isn't
planned to be.

"Just happened to be" is a silly answer.

"Just happened to be" is the default position. There is no reason to believe that death, or any other aspect of biology, is planned.
The burden is on you.

When asking how humans evolved then the scientific answer is due to
mutations and natural selection during a long period of time, "just happened
to be" isn't an answer.

So how you explain that death is a part of the process?
