You know I was just stirring you with the whole 'Good was made in our image' thing, right?

Couldn't help myself.

I know......it was a good platform for more information though.....any excuse....Couldn't help myself.

Don't you mean "An omniscient God created a perfect man with free will knowing full well that it would result in wars and violence filling the earth but did it anyway"?
I find nothing in the Bible that leads me to believe the true God cannot control his ability to foreknow the future. Rather, as Genesis 18:20,21 and other Scriptures indicate, God chooses to selectively know or not know future events. I believe Jehovah is fully capable of dealing with any situation that may arise, whether he chooses to foreknow it or not.

And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know."

A god who per definition knows everything can't choose to not know something because then he wouldn't know everything. Omniscience of God

Can a person who sings choose whether to sing or not? Or are they forced to sing unceasingly? Almighty God can do as he pleases, and is not bound by word definitions or semantics.

He's bound by simple logic. An omniscient god knows everything. Period. A god who has chosen to not know something doesn't know everything!

How might these relate to one another?

God's love is not contradicted by his granting free will to his children to do evil and to hurt others. He allowed the rulers of Japan to bring death and destruction to the U.S., the world, and to their own nation.

He can know whatever he chooses to know. If he does not know, it is because he selectively chooses not to know. He is not forced to know. Again, arguing over semantics is not productive.

Gods love is only one of His attributes, and also God loves only those who believe and do good. So Hiroshima is not really (afaict) an expression of "Thy will be done" spirituality, and therefore not going to merit His pleasure or liking.

God is sovereign and yet not the author of evil. Be wary of overly simplistic answers.

Proverbs says if a disaster has come upon a city has not the Lord done it. Why He does it or what his goals in doing one thing over another is unwise and beyond us. God may do many things to restrain evil in the world, to advance His glory, to judge sin, or maybe a billion other things at once.
We know God is a good God and there is some overall good in the world somehow coming and the world is a work in progress with a plan of redemption. Why something happened we don't know.
