I don't read those "tweet" things, so I don't know what he's up to.
It would be great if he pushed a mime in France though.
That's litteraly a non reply to what I asked you. I did not ask about trumps tweets. I asked you about Trumps having a physical interaction with another world leader. Video of this can be seen. I'm also not going to let you deflect with humor.

I misunderstood your post then.
It seemed jocular.
I wouldn't ignore (intentionally) you, one of my favorite posters.

Yes, I'm familiar with the video.
I've already addressed it in this very thread.

No jokes? No Simpsons meme or documentary? I give this post 3/10.

Well I I appreciate the flattery and it certainly improved my mood and day that being said.... Still evading my question.

You said....
File assault charges!

Is it really such a slow day for Trump news that this is not only posted, but it gets its own thread?
And not even in the joke section!
So I asked
So I asked.
@Revoltingest why isn't the president assaulting some one news worthy to you ?
now I'll admit useing the word assault was disingenuous of me and perhaps that's why you didn't take me seriously at first..latter I switched to calling it a physical interaction. He literally pushed a world leader at of the way. You haven't told me why that's no big deal. Yes it is. He pushed a world leader out of the way. It's only no biggy because who has even heard of that nation here and because they are NATO allies.

What is he shoved Putin at a g6 . Your telling me that's not an international incident?

Why do you defend trump so much? You admit to not liking him and he hasn't and isn't draining the swamp. So why do you keep defending him? You can simply admit you were wrong. You don't even have to do that , just stop acting as a proxy for trump or even join in the critical analysis. Do you regret Trump and feel the need to double down In defense of him? I don't understand.

I just don't like the idea of a 100billion dollar arms deal with a known human rights violator. Especially one we know pumps out terrorists and extremism.

, and your ability to admit that is beautiful.

What? Me worry?
Those who over-react to every imagined Trump incident should really consider why they do this. It would help with recovery to understand that Hillary's loss to Trump drives an irrational need to find fault in his every move. This thrashing about & lashing out won't change the election results.

Certainly, he's doing things worth criticizing. He's even worthy of loathing. But we see obsession over things minor or imagined. Note the OP's title....one would think Trump assaulted another leader, but the reality of the situation is just playful grandstanding. Similarly, we see claims that he gave away submarine locations. But that turns out to be false too. If any in this plethora of Trumpophobic threads ever covers a real issue, it will be lost in the fog of histrionics & drama.

Agreed.

Any thinking person can see that Trump is an arrogant douchwad with some transparent insecurities. It's only worrisome if it's pathological.

So, let me guess, are you the only one who can draw that line? If you don't like these discussions or feel they are unfair, there are other topics to talk about. But continueing to throw every member who criticizes the guy under the whole "they are just lashing out about Hillary" is inaccurate.

Thread title is because the body language at the end of the video clip reminded me perfectly of Il Duce.
It's typical Trump, and imagine how the other leaders there thought, and you can see it in a couple of their faces.

I think I think I also heard Trump sing "Putin loves me this I know".:openmouth: [sang to the tune of "Jesus loves me this I know"]

Yeah, but you didn't see anyone shoving him back. I think you might be reading a little too much in what appears to some as a playful move.

The bbc showed the full clip, before and after. No one pushed him back. Nor was his action playful, it was just self importance grand standing bad manners.

It's truly a shame that some keep on defending the indefensible actions of Trump and some others, thus seemingly being unaware of the impact that such imagery has. On "Morning Joe" today, Joe Scarborough, a Republican and former representative from Florida, said that it's things like what Trump did that reinforces the "Ugly American" image that we all too often exhibit.

To put it another way, he's become a laughing stock amongst especially European leaders, and that has some serious implications. This, much like his perpetual lying and self-flattery, may have some significant implications down the road.
