Annoying Lags Again.

It looks like the advertisers have found a way to override my ad-blocker. Now I am back to annoying lags in posting on the site again. These unnecessary delays drive me crackers. Is anyone else experiencing them?

If the advertisers cannot present their ads without impacting on the overall performance here, then the site might lose more than it gains.

I am just able to afford internet service, so I have no funds left to pay to use sites.
I am not enjoying the nuisance factor.....will have to go looking for better ad blockers.

Just sayin'......o_O

I generally use ad block plus, if that helps.

You can also use the inspect function to remove most ads.
Right-click>Inspect>Right-click on highlighted text>Delete element>Exit using F12 or the "x" in the top right
Not sure if it's browser specific as I've only ever used chrome, but it works for me so maybe it'll work for you.

Watch out for malware too. I get a notice about the site certificate here now and again. I'm thinking it comes from the ad's placed here which seems to do more than advertise ad's as a display. Seems it reads your browser and tracks keywords that affect the type of ad's you get. The programs running in the background seems to have something to do the lag and the fact the ads are just plastered all over the place.
