like your heartbeat?.....your breathing?

funny we don't think about them....until that last hour

on a grander scale.....many of us go about our business without awareness
as if we have blinders on

how about unconscious of spirit?

yes, the nature of mind

I was talking to the other guy....

but now that I have your attention....

Lucifer was...God's Favored

I often wonder of Lucifer was SECOND in terms of existence

and with the Creator as First....Lucifer might be God's FIRST .....reflection

Lucifer would be the first of creation according to the torah and genesis 1:3.

With Love's reflection comes Light.

yes, the nature of mind
If only we could do that....
find the off/on switch
play with it
without losing what(ever) we are

I did not set in place this spirit I am
I am not my own creation

Only God seems to be 'self' formed
(and I do not believe He was formed of substance)

Lucifer would be formed in spirit
but must be in some manner different than God

or he would be an identical reflection
and God would be talking to His own Reflection and Echo

your last two lines
remind me of echo and narcissus' reflection

echo is a sound reflection

“The Revelation of Sonmi 451 To be is to be perceived, and so to know thyself is only possible through the eyes of the other. The nature of our immortal lives is in the consequences of our words and deeds, that go on and are pushing themselves throughout all time.

- Our lives are not our own. From womb to tomb, we are bound to others, past and present, and by each crime and every kindness, we birth our future.” - Cloud Atlas - David Mitchell

Lucifer is a fallen angel, not a reflection of G-d.

In most major religions it doesn't matter, if he's a demon/angel. all things are ONE thing

in the abrahamic isaiah 66 explains this. genesis 1 explains that god created everything in heaven and earth.

Christ (Jesus) is said to be the firstborn of creation. Colossians 1:15

Lucifer has nothing to do with the Abrahamic faiths, He is not mentioned in the Christian bible. Lucifer is a pre-Christian deity of ancient Roman and Greek mythology. He is mentioned in Publius Ovidius Naso's "Metamorphoses", which was written in 8 B.C.E., Roman poet Virgil mentions him as far back as 29 B.C.E. And the first mention is from Timaeus by Plato written 360 B.C.E.

The idea of Satan, on the other hand, is firmly rooted in the Judeo-Christian faiths.

Problem is that Lucifer isn't mentioned in either text.

Isaiah 14:12 as the morning star and the association to venus and the pentagram

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

any association to the yazidis?

It was St. Jerome who placed the word Lucifer into the Bible . . .
Isaiah 14:12 according to the Vulgate translation:
"Et habemus firmiorem propheticum sermonem : cui benefacitis attendentes quasi lucernæ lucenti in caliginoso donec dies elucescat, et lucifer oriatur in cordibus vestries"

The Hebrew translation had the word helel in the place of Lucifer, or rather St. Jerome replaced the word helel with Lucifer. Helel means ‘shining one’.

The title Lucifer was used for the Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar as well as Jesus himself.

if there is an Absolute, or 'el' the most high, can anything exist apart from it, like satan?

I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:

God is something more than the fullness of the Universe which is, itself, something more than human beings can fully comprehend. We suppose God is one but I do not see how we can actually see that directly. God is Jesus and Satan, you and me. God is a woman, a sinner, a pillar of cloud, a fire, a tree.

I would disagree, all these God's, devils, angels, demons are all archetypal structures nothing more. We on the other hand, are the only god we will ever come to know and understand.

All these "supernatural" individuals are expressions of archetypal forms in the human mind, I agree. An encounter with God is an encounter with Self. If one chooses to present all this as "merely" human (depth) psychology or as a metaphysics of a living, Abrahamic God doesn't matter too much in the end.

God needs us as much as we need He/She/It IMO.

The CPU (Most High) makes manifest the reality; everything within the Matrix is processed.

Satan (accuser), Devil (slanderer) are viruses, that attach to the ego.

God can still pull people up in a moments notice from Hell. :innocent:

Creation is different from same, or all one thing. Scripture is filled with what you would call duality.

I have to agree.

That seems to be a recurring theme in most religions; along with the golden rule

know thyself

God is eternal, the creator of everything, including the rebellious angel Lucifer. Lucifer has become the god of many. However, Lucifer can create nothing, attacks and destroys God's creatures, and in appearance is ugly and repulsive. So, why do so many people adore Satan? Is it because they hate God, hate God's creation, or seek death rather than eternal life with God? It is a real puzzle.

Once again . . .where are you getting that Lucifer is some "rebellious angel"?
Where have you seen Lucifer so that you can describe Hir as "ugly and repulsive" ?
Then . . . what is the purpose of switching gears to Satan?
You're all over the map here . . .
