anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as some form of deity and worships/follows him as such is entitled to call themselves a Christian

A christian is one who has believed that He is the son of God, repented of the sinful life and lived life according to the Bible, and has been baptised for the remission of passed sins.

"For as many as have been baptised into Christ, have put on Christ." These are christians.

This site is crazy. http://p203.ezboard.com/ftruechristiansunitefrm12 They're talking about it being perfectly acceptable to marry your sister-in-law, and mistreating disabled people. :areyoucra

Attention readers,
This person is either a mormon or a scientologist. In either regard, ignore him and make sure your children are safely locked away if one is approaching your doorstep.

Praise the Lord!
The Lord instructs us to kill the vast majority of folks out there... unfortunately, we are also required to follow the law of the land and we now live in desperate times where God's Laws are routinely ignored.

Can someone please direct them to a ... school?

Thank you for reminding me why I love RF. These people call themselves Christians and yet they are filled with so much hatred it just blows your mind. I'd last about five minutes on that site before being banned.

I voted Other. A Christian is just someone who calls himself/herself a Christian. It gets too sticky when dealing with who is what and who isn't. The whole "Mormons/Catholics/Liberals aren't Christian" thing is a prime example.

Agreed. :)

PLEASE NOTE: This is a True Christian site, so anyone that is not a Christian is hell bound, therefore, they need not apply nor waste the time of the TC with their child like rhetoric. Also, any Christian women that don’t know how God wants her to act and submit to her husband in every way need not apply as well (For the strict requirements that are demanded by our God, consult any one of our esteemed Godly elite).
These people are taking all the fun out of parody.
We believe that the woman’s primary (and I did say primary) role in life is to marry, bear children and guide the house (Titus 2:4,5; Gen. 3:16; 1 Tim. 5:14,15).

We believe that women are commanded not to speak in the capacity of authority in the church, and that if they need to know anything, they can ask their husbands at home (1 Cor. 14:33-40; 1 Tim. 2:11,12; Rev. 2:20-24). We believe that if dressed according to "women professing godliness (this includes hair, clothes, makeup and jewelry) with shamefacedness" they can sing, pray and give testimonies in the church (1 Cor. 11:1-15; 1 Tim. 2:9-15; 1 Pet.3:3,4; Deut. 22:5).

We believe that women should not be working out of the home in the corporate work force, nor in the military; nor in politics, ruling over men in a place of authority; nor in law enforcement, etc. We believe that the Bible is very clear on the woman’s role in society (Gen. 3:16 — "Thy desire shall be unto thy husband and he shall rule over thee"). We believe that the woman should not have to go out into the professional work place to "bring home the bacon," but her place is to keep the house (Titus 2:5). We believe because of woman’s disobedience to God’s plain commandments concerning her role, we are not only seeing the product of it, but are experiencing God’s judgment upon this nation. (You may write for more information).
So, ladies, you be sure and write. :D

I now must revise my previous opinion of who I will happily refer to as Christians (i.e. all who claim a faith in Christ and try to follow Him) in light of the above. I feel that I must make an exception for all such 'True' Christians who use Christianity as an excuse for the rankly misogynistic oppression of women. I do not wish, in any way, that I or any of the other Christians here, should be associated with such beliefs.

(And if they're so incredibly literalistic in their reading of Scripture, do you think they eat pork? I have a feeling I see more than a hint of pick-and-choosery at work here.)

A TRUE Christian is one who follows the teachings of Christ.

All other professed "Christians" are hypocrites.

oh, I see, and what are the TRUE teachings of Christ again? Find those for me and I'll tell you what a TRUE Christian is.
