If we start examining the signs preceding the coming of Jesus, then the words spoken by Jesus himself, in which he referred to the days of Noah and Lot concerning the generation experiencing the coming of Jesus, are a good starting point. He stated that the conditions just before his coming would very much resemble the societies of Noah's and Lot's time, and that before his coming, people would be as unprepared as then; in other words, history would repeat itself in a way.

yes, we are now living in the last days , or the time of the end. but this time of the end, does not mean the end of the planet ,it means the end of manmade goverments , we have been living in the time of the end since 1914. that was the time when Jesus was made king of Gods heavenly kingdom goverment.
(Daniel 7:14) And to him there were given rulership and dignity and kingdom, that the peoples, national groups and languages should all serve even him. His rulership is an indefinitely lasting rulership that will not pass away, and his kingdom one that will not be brought to ruin.
and the kingdom is now well established in this time of the end . yes not long now and Gods heavenly kingdom ,with Jesus as king of it, will step into the affairs of man.
(Daniel 2:44) "And in the days of those kings (human rulership)the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite;
recognizing Jesus and his kingship is the thing to do in this time of the end.
And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come. matthew 24;14 yes its all happening in this time of the end

Even though we are in the last days (since the resurrection), the kingdom has not been put into place yet. First of all, the Christians will be raptured from earth, and then the tribulation will begin, and will last for seven years, and after the tribulation Christ will physically return to earth, and THEN the kingdom of heaven will be set up by Christ, the kingdom which was promised to the Jews beginning with Abraham. Let us not forget that Christ is the King of the Jews.

I wonder how many opinions the Jews had about the Massiah and his role on earth before he came. I honestly think this type of worrying or speculating is futile. When the end times happen. You'll know. Not suspect. Not think. Not wonder. Most definitly you'll know. But untill then worry about something more meaningful. Like... where are you going to take your wife out for dinner. What are you going to do with your children when you get home. How are you going to put into practice the teachings of Christ so that he is proud to call you brother or sister.

The kingdom is now well established in the heavens , dont get left behind on the understanding about the heavenly kingdom goverment . The birth of Gods kingdom in the heavens happened in 1914, this birth of the kingdom, is spoken of in revealation 12;5
And she gave birth to a son, a male, who is to shepherd all the nations with an iron rod. And her child was caught away to God and to his throne................ yes the male child is Gods kingdom, and nothing can harm that child because it is caught away to God ...........it now has Gods protection and nothing can harm that kingdom. yes its all happening in this time of the end.
