Which religions ascribe to it and why? Who established it or will establish it?

the kingdom comes from within and heaven is the throne and the earth a footstool.

From heaven comes all judgments.
The good person out of the good treasure of his heart produces good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure produces evil, for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flows the springs of life.

The kingdom of God begins on Earth -but will include the entire universe -and perhaps beyond.

The kingdom of God begins with those who choose to follow the commandments of God -to be governed by God.
However, those who are called to do so in this time (from EVERY NATION -there are prophecies concerning what will happen in the future with human nations, but those made immortal at the return of Christ will be of all nations) are essentially in training to become kings and priests (made immortal) when God literally sets up a kingdom on Earth.
The kingdoms of the Earth will literally become the kingdoms of God and Christ when Christ returns to rule the Earth -and then the rest of the universe from Earth.

Isa 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isa 9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Dan 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
Dan 2:45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Rev 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Rom 8:21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.

Php 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Kingdom (Malkuth) means the physical world, the "creation," and the Kingdom of God refers to the people of the creation who "reflect and evince God's glory from within." Plainly speaking, it is what we refer to as the god-believers (in the Hebrew sense of "god") of the world, they who understand a relationship to God and obey the law (duty).

The stone that we typically reject is the hidden piece that we are given to believe. In recognizing it and placing it as the cornerstone of a metaphysical image, one has entered the Kingdom of God.

I'm not religious, though, so could be off the mark.

To answer your own question, 'What is the kingdom of God?'
Jesus phrased his teaching in parables and the parables were concerned with the 'Kingdom of God'.
I have already studied the parables, the kingdom of God is within, I have learnt all that I need to learn from the parables, now I have moved on.

Jesus Christ taught us to pray for God's Kingdom to come. I believe the good news of the Kingdom was the central theme of his preaching. He foretold the good news of the Kingdom being preached to all nations would be part of the sign of his presence and this world's end. (Matthew 24:14) I believe God's kingdom is the government he has established in heaven to rule over the earth. This heavenly government with Jesus as King will end all human rule, and accomplish God's will on earth. (Daniel 2:44)

Didn't one read the following?:

43“Therefore I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit.44 Anyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.”

Matthew 21:42-44

Yes, I believe the kingdom was taken from the Jewish nation because they rejected the Messiah. The privilege to be prospective heirs of God's kingdom passed to the Christian congregation. Spirit-anointed Christians would become heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, and finally become part of that heavenly government. (Romans 8:17, Revelation 5:9,10)

All parables come from the kingdom within, they are like magnets pulling one within where the parables become truly know.

Muffled

Jesus in me
Which Christian Bible, where ?
I read at Luke 17:20-21 where Jesus is talking to the hate-filled Pharisees.
There Jesus says ( KJV wording ) that he answered the Pharisees that the kingdom is within those Pharisees.
It is Not until after he talks to the Pharisees, then, in verse 22 Jesus then addresses his disciples.
Jesus teaches his disciples at Luke 19:11-15 that he would Not receive the kingdom until he returns.
So, since Jesus was 'within the reach' of the Pharisees, then in that sense the Kingdom or Government of God was within their midsts because Jesus, as king designate, was there with them willing to teach them why they should also pray ' thy kingdom come ' ( God's kingdom come ) - Revelation 22:20

I believe this is a false conclusion based on an improper exegesis.
Luke 17:21 neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you.
If it isn't here or there it can't be in the midst.
