What kinds of morning and evening prayers do some Buddhists say?

Buddhist prayers

It's not strictly a prayer, but I chant "Namo Tassa Bhaghavata Arahato Samma-Sam Buddhassa" regularly every morning and evening to my Buddha-rupa; it puts me in a meditative state of mind and anchors my sense of direction for the day. Also, the refuges in the Triple Gem, and the taking of the Precepts.
I pray to various deities (those said to have achieved at least the first stage of enlightenment) for guidance throughout the day. My requirements guides which deity I choose to pray to, and the method of prayer.
