Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. If everybody were to do this we would have no wars, terrorism or even major disagreements.

Because it's all self, there is only the world. To assist a little old lady crossing the street is to do a service to yourself. To donate money to the benefit of wildlife is to do a service to yourself. To harm someone is to do a disservice to yourself, because it's not someone else, except in word (idea). That's kindness ("kind"-ness).but why?
Not to mention 'I'd want others invested in my spiritual health, therefore I'm going to go prosthelyze to those gays, heathens and godless.'Unfortunately, many loosely interpret the word "neighbor". There are those that define neighbor as "those who believe as I do".
Not always. If you decide to be a service to others, others will help you on this path.
Which might be the easiest path to follow? service to self? or service to other as self? and why?
