This guy's shawarma sandwich was mistaken for a bomb?

"Shu mkhabba tahet jacketak wle?!" one soldier shouted at him.

"It's just a few 'sandwichet shawarma!'" he then answered.

But, the soldier did not believe him, ordering Salhab to "slowly" unzip his jacket as others approached the scene.

The gibberish question above is in Lebanese Arabic accent that means "what are you hiding under your jacket, boy?" and "sandwichet" too, and it is means sandwiches.

The title of the article is inaccurate, as the soldier didn't say it was a bomb, but just suspected it something that was possibly a bomb or a gun maybe.

I am tired of hearing about Shawarma. When is somebody going to mail me some Shawarma so I can try it out? Birthdays come and go and all kinds of celebrations, but I get no shawarma.

I'll bet that the shawarma we get over here is not the real deal. It probably has all the dangerous ingredients left out and just the bland and uninspired ones remaining. I might have to come over there someday to get truly authentic shawarma that will blow up all my expectations with an explosion of flavor in my mouth.

Not true. We could have the same birthday perhaps. There is a 1/365 chance of it happening, so you should bring some shawarma.

I'm on the Arabic calendar, the Hijri calendar.

This means I was born in a completely different time dimension that defies gravity and telecommunications.

No chance, bro!

But I could email you some anyway. Heck, I'll even attach some right here:

ِA high quality (high resolution) shawurma!

Not sure, but I can tell that here at least the poultry business is prosperous and there is a race in who's products are better. Competition in a business field means better quality to gain approval and customers. But who got the best reputation in shawurma and Levant foods in general is Lebanon, not Saudi.

I think you missed the joke embedded in my post when i wrote: "blow up" and "explosion" in my prior post which went along with the OP "bomb"
