This is sort of morbid, but I am afraid of being buried alive. Yeah, morbid, not to mention clearly irrational seeing as it is not possible in this day and age (unless done on purpose:eek: .) Which brings up another fear: claustrophobia.

As stupid as it is, I am deathly afraid to open my eyes underwater. I love the water and even enjoy swimming under water. I absolutely refuse to open my eyes underwater though. I won't open them in the shower when the water is on my face until I have dried them off with a towel. When I am swimming and go underwater, when I come up I will wipe the water away from my eyes before I open them. I really have no good reason for it, but it really scares me for some reason. I won't ever do it for I am convinced at this point that it will blow up the universe if I ever do!!

and Teletubbies..... those are the most frightening things on the planet! Little evil things that make weird noises from those paperwhite masks of evil *shudders at the thought of those things* How little kids aren't afraid of those things I have no idea!

Don't forget about that test they do at the eye-doctor with the puff of air. That thing freaks me out.

I'm afraid of broken bones, heights, needles, surgery, and stepping on broken glass while walking barefoot in water.

I'm not afraid of the eye-doctor, but I avoid him like the plague! The aren't scary, just mean. I can't even stand to watch people do eye drops or contacts, I have to turn the other way and not watch or my eyes tear up. I can't do eyedrops, somebody has to hold me down and physically do it to me. Yet, I have no problem sticking a finger in my eye

I'm extremely phobic of two things.

Birds

and

Seamonsters.

Yes, I'm deathly afraid of Seamonsters. Whether or not they exist is not even an issue. Just thinking about Seamonsters sends me into a panic attack.

As long as they stay underwater, I'll never see em and they won't hurt you ;)

But it's for that reason that I refuse to even go in bodies of water. There have been times when I wouldn't even go swimming in my pool because a tree was casting a big shadow on the surface and it freaked me out.

Maybe that's why I won't open my eyes underwater  You just might be on to something there......

ANTS still creep me out a bit, but I've gotten over my fear of them. That was one of my fears for a long time though!

If ever I run into Scylla, I'll let you know how I fair against her.;)

But I have this irrational fear to go in water because I think my insides will fill up with it through my bellybutton. Even showers kind of get me a little weirded out by it. Oh, and Brown Recluse spiders are scary too! Deadlier than Black Widows even! Google "recluse bite" if you want to witness the gooey decay that takes place after they bite you. (gags)
