Is Moses God?

. . . With the proviso that it's understood we're talking about Moses being a type, a trope, or emblematic of God the Father, we have so much evidence that it's perhaps the fact that we have so much of it that we can't see it, like a source of light too bright to be seen:

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

Exodus 14:21.

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. . . And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

Genesis 1:2-9.

Genesis 1:2 says that the ruach (translated "spirit") of God moved over the waters and they divided and gathered to let the dry land appear. In Exodus 14:21, Moses stretches his hand over the waters and the Lord causes the sea to separate by means of the same ruach (here translated "wind") found in Genesis 1:2.

John

Thanks, John. There is also much type and shadow of Moses and the prophets illustrating the life of Jesus.

I believe when He says that He and the Father are one that He is saying that He is God.

Muffled,
Just because Jesus said that he and the Father are one, is NO reason to believe that they are the same person.
Just a thought even today, E Pluribus Unum, which is Latin found on many US coins, means; Out of many, ONE. Do you then believe that all three hundred million in the United States re really one person?? What about a married couple, do the really become one person, because they are in a union as one, Matthew 19:5,6. Or do they become one, as to work closely together as one???
Have you ever noticed that in John 14:11,17,20, we are told that Jesus is IN the Father, and the Father is in Jesus, does not make them one person. Look at John 17:11,21,22,23, where Jesus is in prayer to his Father, and he says that they are one, and that all the ones who believe are Also one with them. I do not think that all Christians are actually one person, especially that we are one with God. Jesus was talking about all true Christians would be like one in working together, teaching the same things, 1Corinthians 1:10.
Agape!!!

I believe that is the only reasonable meaning one may derive from the statement.

I believe out of many is not the same as with many so it is not one person and in fact not any persons because it is talking about one country forming from many states.

I believe the couple becomes one flesh through the birth of their children. The text does not say they become one person.

I believe you do not understand the concept.

I believe we are all one person in Christ but not out of Him.

I believe this is a fantasy on your part. Of course God is not going to deviate from Himself when he is acting. It is the result of being one person.
